  1. Congrats to wartburg on a good play off run, they proved something this year they came out of no where and surprised alot of people, including me. Hold your heads hi boys. Who did both teams pitch? It sounds like it was a good game.
  2. wartburg beat harriman, harriman beat rockwood, rockwood beat alcoa, alcoa beat pigeon forge, pigeon forge beat farragut. which means wartburg is better than farragut! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. well coalfield has got it as a win on their schedule.
  4. So Coalfield beat Morristown West? How did they do it? Morristown beat the dog snot out of Rockwood, Rockwood beat the dog snot out of Coalfield, then Coalfield turns around and beats the dog snot out of Morristown. All this snot don't add up.
  5. well if you all want to get technical any "trickery" is bush league. this whole thread is about trick plays. just thought that one was funny.
  6. winning run on third, third base coach motions the pitcher to let him see the ball, pitcher tosses the ball, coach simply lets it go by, ball game.
  7. as far as playing, cookeville has a pretty good field. dug outs are really nice too
  8. Statements like "You also have no idea who they picked up in the offseason." sort of just fuels the public/private school debate doesn't it. I know Harriman and Rockwood haven't "picked up" any new talent.
  9. seems like i heard state title talk last pre-season. lets play, before we talk.
  10. alright boys, time to get rid of the glad to be here attitude. we got where we need to be so far, but now we have a job to do. listen to every one, we are over rated and have no depth, shoot we have no chance at all, dont know about yall but thats the way i want it. only thing that will shut anyone up is a ring, so lets give'em a ring
  11. well thats bush, dads trash talkin lil high school kids.
  12. how many games did they play during Ross's time?
  13. well ive seen 92 with good location, no matter how good the location is there arent many pitchers that get the job done at 65-70 mph. and not snappin here but whos to sat that the injuries arent do to fastballs or not properly warming up. any time there is injury its automatically blamed on the curve ball. coaches and parents seriously need to start working with proper c.b. mechanics. kids alot of the time simply try to throw it to hard. and twist their wrist so hard it hurts people watching
  14. dont jump all over me here but a correctly thrown curveball is actually less rough on your arm than a fastball. fastballs may be considered the "arm saver", but are actually very violent if you watch them. curve balls get a bad rep because many kids (especially at the high school level) snap their wrist and tryin to get that extra six inches of break, causing elbow pain and usually injury.
  15. where u from city boy?, come on down here. ah you probably dont want to get your cleats dirty. never mind our dugouts are pretty clean.
  16. yeah good post georgew. you know that post for, some reason, just really got on my nerves

  18. no wonder you have no friends you have never heard of the frickin CAPITOL
  19. coalfield has a lot of hype to live up to, however judging from last year im sure that they will take home the state, no, the national , no, the WORLD SERIES. im very scared to play them this year. its always very boring sitting in the dugout after the first inning year after year.
  20. when i heard coalfield was going to lookout valley i knew right then they were going to take home the trophy.
  21. whitaker (Rockwood) is going to RS. Rockwood has a few talented players this year
