So lets break it down to just single A . Last year is all you could find and that proves me wrong? In My county there are 5 high schools , we dominated(in district and region) but as always in public it is luck of the draw. None of your schools are limited to a section of a county to be able to find your talent . I know sometimes a public school sneaks in . In 98 I think it was , Coalfield won the state . Although the state consisted of 4 teams instead of 8 . 4 teams means not as much pitching required . Look your teams are great teams I just think they should be playing with Goodpasture and USJ instead of Lookout Valley and Rockwood .

Prove me wrong ! Or just look back at the past 5 years of state tourneys and see how many winners are public schools. I am not insulting these boys or their teams I am simply pointing out that public schools do not have the same chance to load up a team like private schools do . And that is fact . If you think I am wrong give me something more than saying my opinion does not make me right . Because it also dosent make me wrong . So you explain to me why I am wrong.

Not against a private school you didnt. Funny how things always go that way. Two private schools fighting it out for number 1 . The more things change the more they stay the same . Goodpasture and USJ also fighting for top spot except now in AA , what does that tell you . Private schools have the advantage and if you dont agree then your just dont want to believe the truth . But of coarse your truth I guess is God smiles on all who go to high dollar christian school.

Doughty had 14 homers last year(not 17). Wilson hit 12 beating out Greg Ross for the Rockwood record . Doughty however has 16 as of yesterday .

i disagree.. colden cooper is rockwoods best pitcher. he has more control and more and better pitches than duncan or #10. the fact that he only has two or three starts blows my mind. rockwoods coaches must not think the same. of course he could be hurt and i just havent heard about it.

I wonder what the score would have been had Rockwood thrown a top 4 pitcher .

AC=8 Rockwood=2 rockwood had a good first inning but after that they fell apart. errors killed them. AC is a great baseball team and gave rockwood their first loss.

the harriman rockwood game will be interesting no matter what. both teams are eager to play each other and want to win. it has been at least two years since rockwood has beaten harriman in reg season so i think it could be intense.

harriman has lost some key players so does anyone think they will give a good run in post season?

rockwood shouldnt have a problem taking the reigon. their biggest hitters arent even hot yet but they still are putting up 7-10 runs. oliver springs is a good club and they are young and inexperienced so they should definitely improve over the course of the season and within the next couple of years.

The bats are coming around , the pitching looks good , the fielding looks good . The 5/4 victory over Greenback was less than thrilling but the 7/2 victory over Rhea Co was a good boost . This team will do well as they play more and more like a team .
