I've enjoyed the mini-break but I am ready to get back to my team and in the gym for the stretch run. Five days...family.

After an emotional couple of days, I am back to me and confident of the person I am and the person I plan to be. I appreciate all of your texts, messages, and thoughts, while not trying to be nosey either.

President Obama is SOOOOO deserving of the Time Magazine Person of the Year. In response, the President will help the Nation out by letting the deficit grow, shoot hoops with a college basketball team, fill out his bracket come March, and read the Qur'an.

The only t.v. I have and will watch for the next few weeks will be sports. I don't want to see what happened in CT, I don't want to read about it, I don't want to hear about it. It's so depressing and the media is not focusing on the victims, rather the killer and that would be exactly what I feel he would want. Focus on family, the holiday season, and who you love most. Obviously, it can all be taken away...just, like, that.

Life is a climb, but the view is great.

On the topic of being fair: life is not fair. If it were, 20 sets of parents would be hugging their child tonight.

I mean, what is wrong with the world? People killing children at school? I mean, where is the love? Where is the compassion? What a sad world we live in. Hug your children and children hug your parents because this could happen anywhere. Prayers for Sandy Hook Elementary, the parents/spouses who have ones lost, the town, and this ONCE GREAT Nation.

8-2 at the break, huge one point win in over-time on the road, and a very proud coach equals a hard earned day off. I am so proud of my five leaders as well as the rest of the team for working so hard. I am sooooo in debt to these kids and many from over the years.

Just got out of practice. Had a missed call, too from (865)974-1224. Yep, you guessed it...times are so bad and desperate I was contacted about the position at Tennessee. I declined. They're just looking for a warm body to hire.

If you're gonna down someone about their profession: 1. Make sure you know what you're talking about. 2. Don't say it to where it gets back to that person via their family.
