  1. Bingo. Kellie ain't coming home. And if you think a proven coach would be willing to come after the firing of a proven coach...well....
  2. I'll play devil's advocate. Who would you think they could hire that's better?
  3. I think either team will win against Heritage. White County scores the ball so well and while Upperman is stellar defensively, they have shown the ability to fill it up. Could they play five times? Unlikely. But, it wouldn’t be shocking!
  4. Yeah, it's Tullahoma.
  5. Weird persona with the use of third person. The Rock made it look cool. That would be something if they could make a sixty point swing, for sure. First person common sense agrees that it isn't happening.
  6. Possibly. However, 8AAA is once again the district to watch if you want to see high level basketball night in and night out. White County is rounding into their own under Coach Dodgen and this might be his best White County team he’s had. Livingston, Cumberland, Upperman, and Stone are and will continue to be threats to any and everyone when the post-season arrives.
  7. I have no dog in the race, but if my child was solid, I would want to give them the best chance to win a state title. Which school allows that to happen? No doubt Coach Hennigan is changing things at Cookeville High. But right now? Nowhere close to competing for a championship. Upperman will be the favorite to win Region 4-4A and one of the top five favorites to be back in Chattanooga next season.
  8. Congratulations to Upperman on a fine season and representing 4-4A well. Congratulations to Pearl Cohn.
  9. Congratulations to South Side. Thank you to Livingston for the ride and the run.
  10. Congratulations to South Gibson on a fine season!
  11. Lol no way they are close personal friends. No offense, JG.

Hats off to Lincoln County. A team that had a chance at a ball went home tonight due to another team who has a chance at a ball.

Tougher than most kids on the football team.

Can't disagree but that was a moment that they should have. Trail official was staring at that play and should have ejected. Worst no call of the year.
  15. Ellie Butler. Livingston Academy. The numbers speak for themselves. She's a big time reason that Livingston is returning to the top of their class.
  16. Is the Round House at McMinn Central still a thing?
  17. Ah. She was a phenomenal lady. Ts and Ps to her friends and family.
  18. Round about way but very close to the whole story for sure. I commend him for taking it. The program is going to struggle until the Junior Wildcats develop enough to pump quality talent to the high school level. Plus, you can't win games if you're unable to stop someone on each side of the trenches. Games are won and lost there first.
  19. Hard to disagree with some of this take. But, Livingston needs to put their best foot forward and get a coach with experience. Commend those who have stepped in and up to work with the young men over the last couple of seasons. Keep them around to help them develop.
  20. Bruce Lamb helped lead another small town team that had "no chance" to a state championship and raised the gold in the end: the 2005 Livingston Academy Wildcats. Their offensive leader? Wilson Cates, who is an offensive assistant at Clay. Gimme the Bulldogs! Also, you'll be able to rob a bank in Celina Friday. Ain't no way anyone stays home for this one.
  21. Colby Barnes and that offensive line are absolutely phenomenal. Should be a good one.
  22. Very! Took guts to take that left handed runner.
