Meadows is a freshman. He plays with the varsity when there isn't a freshman or jv game. He has good command of the strike zone for someone his age.

Beech has been successful so far in the season with a 6-0 record. We will soon find out if Beech is for real with a spring break trip to orlando where the bucs should face some good competition, also the bucs open up district play with gallitan, lavergne, and wilson central immediately after returning from florida.

It's hard to say who is better Beech or Mt. Juliet, but one thing is for sure April 17th should be a great game. I think both teams are good enough to get out of district and potentially make a good run in 2006. Other teams in 9AAA have what it takes to get out as well, so it will be fun to see how things turn out this year.

I agree black and gold. Every night in 9AAA is a war and you can never tell who will win on a certain night. It will be alot of fun to see who comes out this year, alot of good teams this year.

Including preseason Beech is 15-0. Beech has played well so far and hopefully they can transfer the success they are having into big wins in the district.

Beech starters look very good but the two relievers that I have seen no.28 and no.19 have done a great job.Who are these guys and are they juniors or seniors?Keep up the good work Beech. # 28 is junior peyton townley and #19 in junior brandon frensley. Both do a good job of throwing strikes.

Beech won 23-6. It was actually a close game up until the 4th and 5th when Beech poured on 18 runs in 2 innings. I believe the pitchers for blackman were young.

Beech finished up the Grand Slam Challenge with a win over Blackman 23-6 and a win over Oakland 7-5 in 10 innings. Anyone who was at the Oakland game got their money's worth. Beech had a chance to put Oakland away twice, but credit Oakland for getting timely hits to extend the game.

Beech is 4-0 on the year defeating hunters lane, goodpasture,harpeth,and siegel. Beech plays 2 tough ones today against blackman and oakland.

Beech plays Blackman and Oakland tomorrow in the Grand Slam Challenge, should be a good test for Beech.
