I agree if this was the case. Shame on her but.... it was not the girls that left the trophy.

Folks, my understanding is Coach P has her players put all equipment in her car. As the trophy was so large it probably would not fit in the back and they left it beside the car thinking she would put it in. She probably thought they had put it in and simply did not check. The school should be proud to have a leader like her. Coach P is a class act, always positive with the girls (as someone from Coffee County stated this weekend), and has done some great things since being at MJ. The tournament was great, the games were good ones to get everyone ready for post season. Isn??™t that what we were all really doing anyway? Let this go and continue to watch great softball. Both school softball programs seem to be class acts. Thanks Coffee County for a great tournament.

Maybe since you were not there you might not know the whole thing. Maybe the coach, players, parents as well as everyone from CC who worked the tournament were just plain tired and it was left by mistake. My understanding is that team played from 9:00 a.m. until almost mid-night and they still had to drive home. The TEAM as well as the COACH have CLASS. Just my two cents worth!

Hope everyone realizes the job the Mt. Juliet pitcher (Morris) did along with the team play to get them through the tournament. She pitched an awsome tournament. Congratulations Mt. Juliet!
