bob77 i saw your little post at the bottom, you'd be a proud guy if you could say you were from rbs and wouldn't feel the need to insult others. maybe you need to work on your self esteem? think about it, for your own sake.

swanson I should have never questioned a loyal rbs fan. looks like you were right. however, there's still a long time before tip off so things could change. i sure hope it does the kids are going to miss out on some fun memories that should be available to them.

yeah, where are you getting info.? coach carter and white seemed to handle and enjoy the tradition fine. does coach brown want to end the tradition. I don't buy this about it being the best for everyone involved. again no one has gotten hurt, yes there was a scene at the game this year in lafayette. and it was foolish and uncalled for but i don't think it warrants cancelling the games. I think if most people knew this was even being thought about they'd be very upset with our school systems. we can't even get along enough to play ball. someone needs to mature and understand sometimes someone will take something to far but to cancel a game that's been played for many many years is childish in itself.

I hope she does great things at smith county and you're right about the coaches only doing so much. That's what makes the difference in the leonard kid at rbs. she practices hard during season and during off season. she plays aau ball and is in the gym whenever the opportunity arises. so it is trully up to the player. during off season is when players should improve.

will compton be a senior? what about the 3 point kid? wasn't she leader in the state in 3's for awhile this year? is that all they have. rbs will be fully loaded again this year but it doesn't seem to make a lot of difference when the 2 play. everyone plays hard and it's normally a real close barn burner.

I couldn't agree more. Lets keep it competive from a distance, tp and flash lights are not harmful just a make it more fun for the fans to get involved. Besides the gate money has got to be more than any other games all year. don't punish all because some don't know how to act.

how could taking away the biggest game in a county be good for anyone. hey these big games prepare kids for the butterflies down the road. think about thy're playing in front of the whole county and they both want to win so bad they can't hardly stand it. our schools are constantly yelling more money, more money and no one, no one has ever been hurt in all the years they have played each other. why can't our school system just punish the ones who commit these acts? This is not the best for anyone, just hold the people accountable and lets play ball. Whose decision was this anyway? The school board? The Coaches? because I know it wasn't the players.

That's pitiful, if it's true. I can't believe this would even be considered. yeah the kids throw toilet paper or get on white's precious floor after the game but it's just fun and entertainment. look at clarkrange/rbs game this year, they were allowed to throw their tp after the first basket of the girls game, the coach didn't get all mad and bent out of shape. Lamar probably encouraged it just to get his team fired up and give a good show, that's what keeps fans following. let them play some too. The cheerleaders collected the tp and gave it back to the crowd to use in the boys game. what's the problem in this county? too many cry babies?

Hey i was just wandering about the 06-07 macon county tigers. what does their future look like with the new coach and do they have hopes of showing a strong team or at least a team as strong as the rbs girls? just looking for some thoughts on what we might expect from tigers if anything next year?

why do you keep sending congrats to a team that loves to beat rbs, that trys to take our players. i don't see why you don't just be quite or at least be honest about your feelings.
