Has the pool games schedule been set yet for the Commando Classic?

HOW do the Lady Bees alwaysfind a way to choke in the games that mean the most? Did they put all their eggs into the LA basket? Or did Dana find out that if they won they would have to play McMinn again????

Don't have a dog in this fight, just checking for info on region 4 teams. It seems that midtensportsfan had some lowly expectations for his lady bees this year. If your only goal was to beal LA in the semis of the region tournament then you're not much of a fan. Seems you sold them out!

You got that right! Bolivar could have beaten LA by 30+ if they wanted to. LA did have a couple of good years, but to say they are the best in Middle TN is certainly nothing to brag about. I mean, look, if you're going to talk trash before the game, you need to be able to take it after the game and LA's loss was more than disappointing.

How can the LA girls overachieve and make it to the championship game while the boys underachieve and get BLOWN out in the first game for the second year in a row? Is it choking or coaching???

Let's see. LA is still playing and McMinn and Upperman aren't. Why don't you start another thread under "cryababies" or "sore losers" or "wait 'til next year" or why don't you just move on to the softball thread? This is about LA because they are S-T-I-L-L playing!!!!!!!!

I didn't say anything about McMinn. Thay just got BEAT! I said look at Upperman's track record over the past several years and they always fold in pressure games. Read the post not between the lines!!

Let's face the truth. Each year Upperman wins 25 games and when the tournament comes, they choke! The players start worrying about who's going to get the points and attention and the coach just falls apart. I mean, the record speaks for itself. The polls don't mean a thing! That's why they play the games!!!!

Look, The Jenkins kid is is a G-R-E-A-T ballplayer. You can't argue that fact! No one knows what kind of player he will be a Vandy. No one knows whether he will make it to the NBA. Whether he does or not doesn't change the fact that he is a G-R-E-A-T young man off the court and to me that's more valuable than his basketball talent!

Last year I didn't think LA had much of a chance to win the STATE after seeing some of the other teams play. But this year is different! LA is playing as good (and probably better) than anyone in AA. My pick for state champs are the Wildcats of LA!!

Checked with everbody I know and it seems that LA hasn't made it to the state tournament yet. Sorry, but you first have to go through the region and sub-state!
