Reflecting on a long day, but a good day nonetheless. Work was brutal...the Vols pole-axed UK in hoops, the Lady Grizzlies stayed undefeated and extended the school record for consecutive wins... and a lot of well wishes from great friends on my birthday. Being 41 ain't too bad. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!

Well...the best laid plans...#FAIL. I left my wheels back at the depot. Kinda hard to roll bread in without em. Fortunately someone's bringing them to me so I don't lose any more time.

Today is a tough day. Always is on this particular day. Dad passed away 11 years ago. A lot of who I am for better or worse is because of who he was. I still miss him. I'm glad that he's in a better place though and can't wait until the day we meet again.

Hey friends. Shannon and I are in the beginning stages of preparation to adopt. We'd be grateful for your prayers and any advice you can give while we move along in the process. It's been a lot to digest for me having been married this long and not having any kids yet, but I'm confident that we will have kids. We're just going to open our hearts and our house to a child that needs someone to be their mommy and daddy.

Well ain't this a great way to close out 2012. Left rear Dooley is missing two lugs and the studs have fallen/sheared off. Printer is not cooperative at all. And the spare I'm getting is probably nowhere near big enough to carry what I have left to offload. Remjnd me why I do this?
