I've already posted this twice, the first time was over a month ago. Terrence Hutton of Rutledge, Class A-AA All-State this past year, has signed with Walters State. He follows in the footsteps of other Pioneer Golfers that have went to WSCC. Ryan Cabbage, the 1995 Jr. College National Champion and current Assistant Coach at Auburn. Andy Wells, Luke Cabbage and Cale Cameron are the others. We've only been offering golf for 13 years. 4 Region titles and state tournament appearances and 7 District titles. The Rutledge Pioneers are a team with recent playoff history, unlike the Warren County Pioneers, who haven't been to the playoffs in 20 years. Who indeed are the Warren County Pioneers?

Nope. Even a homer like me wouldn't say that the Rutledge Pioneers are going to have a 'great' record after knowing what we lose this year.

Austin Brock at Rutledge is going to be a fine catcher. He won the job over a senior (although the senior didn't have a lot of game experience and quit when he lost the job) and has been very good with the Pioneers' pitching staff. Is getting more patient at the plate and has pop in his bat. Will only get better.

Jesse Cline had a 1.27 ERA last year for Rutledge and a 7-2 record. This season after his start against Chuckey-Doak, his ERA was 1.00 with a 3-0 record...not overpowering stuff, but he has great control and mixes pitches very well.
