we'll not know whose faster until they play. their is NO possible way you know if cascade is faster than columbia academy, because you have not seen columbia academy play, and we will not know if columbia academy is faster than cascade because i have not seen cascade play. its known fact, its IGNORANT of you to just KNOW cascade is faster than CA, and vice versa the other way. and ill take the team that comes out and plays with the most heart, because everyone(with the exception of cascade fans) that ANY team can win in the playoffs.

i've noticed late in the season(last 5 games)cascade has struggles against any good competition at all.

Forrest- won by 1 <----not in playoffs

Eagleville-won by 3 <-----not in playoffs

jo byrns-won by 1

and other than those blew out the bad teams.(whh and NC) which have won a total of 4 games together.

so they ARE beatable, but im sure it'll be tough for anyone.

i didnt think the refs were that bad. the only two i had was mount pleasants first touchdown there were about 5 guys on mtp's qb and he had obviously stopped forward progress, and was going backwards and the whistle should have been blown but wasnt, but it happens...and later in the game when mount pleasant was driving there was a passing interference that i thought was pretty clear the CA defender was going for the ball. rother than that it wasnt bad, people were holding going both ways, they didnt call either, so that fair. nothin to bad, good game by both teams, but a little better by mount pleasant.

Does anyone have the scoop on Cornersville? Did they lose more than expected? Is Stiles, Darnell, Bassham, etc still there?

Bassham tore his ACL in football and is out until at least baseball season.

Last year was a good game ,real tight,emotions were high.This year it wont be a good game WC by 30 or more .So there will not be fights people get madder in good tight game they wont in a blow out.

im not sure about that...it seems when games start to be blowouts the losing team seems to get cheap.

id say the rule is pretty up in the air. my oppinion is if you have to take MORE than ONE step you should pull off, 1 step is fine. but if you can take more than 1 step then you have time to get out of the way. unless the qb is running the option and is pitching it, then you punish the qb!

absolutely nothin.....i was just sayin everybody thought region 5 was better that year too.....which dont get me wrong i do think that region 6 is a lil down this year

was the game of the week moore county won 48-46, over 1000 yards between both teams... tough loss

sounds like a defensive struggle! i wish i was able to attend this one.

pugh threw 5 interceptions & we still almost won...wat does that tell u?

it tells me that if you win by a point or a 100 a wins a win. and a loss is a loss. no one will remember how you almost won. (unless its the titans in the super bowl)

he doesnt start, he spot plays throughout games, but mostly late.

Region 6 has some pretty good teams in the region....its just that we are kind of the what you would call "SEC of high school football"....

i dont feel like the top of region 6 is as strong as it has been in years past though(nothing against wayne county, but i feel mtp in years past was just better) but from top to bottom id say region 6 is the toughest (especially with moore county only beating zion by 2)

They did so well in their scrimmages this fall but once it got to the regular season it just went downhill from there. What do you people think of this school?

they have a new coach right? it takes time to build a program up, give it a few years and i think they'll be contenders, they have always had athletes in spring hill, they just got to figure out how to use them.

Get you a dose of MP this week we have already played those guys and if PC loses 3 of next 4 I would be extremly suprised at worst 2-2 maybe sweep them all they are better than you think if #7 had of played last night you wouldnt even be in disscussion.

and what im saying is, you have to play wayne county(great chance they'll win the region.) collinwood(very fast team, but if you beat one it'd probably be this team) and moore county(big physical team, but are beatable) with these three teams coming up, i think it'll be tough to play at 100% every game, but good luck

perry county has the hardest part of their schedule coming up, and will lose 3 of the 4.

but still, its zion...sure there improved, but i dont think they have the size, speed, or numbers to keep up with wayne county for 4 quarters, they may hang around the first quarter then i suspect wayne county to run away with it.
