we'll not know whose faster until they play. their is NO possible way you know if cascade is faster than columbia academy, because you have not seen columbia academy play, and we will not know if columbia academy is faster than cascade because i have not seen cascade play. its known fact, its IGNORANT of you to just KNOW cascade is faster than CA, and vice versa the other way. and ill take the team that comes out and plays with the most heart, because everyone(with the exception of cascade fans) that ANY team can win in the playoffs. i've noticed late in the season(last 5 games)cascade has struggles against any good competition at all. Forrest- won by 1 <----not in playoffs Eagleville-won by 3 <-----not in playoffs jo byrns-won by 1 and other than those blew out the bad teams.(whh and NC) which have won a total of 4 games together. so they ARE beatable, but im sure it'll be tough for anyone.

i didnt think the refs were that bad. the only two i had was mount pleasants first touchdown there were about 5 guys on mtp's qb and he had obviously stopped forward progress, and was going backwards and the whistle should have been blown but wasnt, but it happens...and later in the game when mount pleasant was driving there was a passing interference that i thought was pretty clear the CA defender was going for the ball. rother than that it wasnt bad, people were holding going both ways, they didnt call either, so that fair. nothin to bad, good game by both teams, but a little better by mount pleasant.

Bassham tore his ACL in football and is out until at least baseball season.

im not sure about that...it seems when games start to be blowouts the losing team seems to get cheap.

id say the rule is pretty up in the air. my oppinion is if you have to take MORE than ONE step you should pull off, 1 step is fine. but if you can take more than 1 step then you have time to get out of the way. unless the qb is running the option and is pitching it, then you punish the qb!

sounds like a defensive struggle! i wish i was able to attend this one.

it tells me that if you win by a point or a 100 a wins a win. and a loss is a loss. no one will remember how you almost won. (unless its the titans in the super bowl)

he doesnt start, he spot plays throughout games, but mostly late.

i dont feel like the top of region 6 is as strong as it has been in years past though(nothing against wayne county, but i feel mtp in years past was just better) but from top to bottom id say region 6 is the toughest (especially with moore county only beating zion by 2)

they have a new coach right? it takes time to build a program up, give it a few years and i think they'll be contenders, they have always had athletes in spring hill, they just got to figure out how to use them.
