I agree I would also like to see some McCallie point of view before the game also. If they win they will post then but that is easy to do then. More interesting to see opinions before. Proud that both schools will represent Chattanooga at the spring fling regardless of the outcome of this game. Go Baylor 3-1.

Last night Baylor beat Webb 3-0 and Baylor's offense played great or Webb's offense was suspect.

Top 2 teams in Chattanooga facing off next week will be a awesome game to watch. Both are playing great and both are headed to spring fling regardless of the outcome. McCallie has the home field advantage but Baylor has the defensive advantage. I also give Baylor the edge on offense with Bach, Javier and Fynn Glover. However with Bradford back for McCallie that really gives them a boost. This will be a hard fought game but I go with Baylor 2-1.

I go with Baylor (I know Christian Brothers is special and hope to see them in state) Baylor has allowed only 9 goals thru 16 games so far this year. Has only given up 2 goals once this year. The rest has been shuts outs or 1 goal games.

Final score.......Baylor 3 Webb 0. Just as was predicted Baylor's defense was awesome and the offense was too. Was easier than expected. Now on to the rematch next Tuesday with McCallie.

Not much left to say now until after the game. Alot is riding for both teams...but i still see a Baylor victory of 2-0. Just hope for a good, clean and injury free game for both teams. Go Baylor!

0-0 halftime score would not surprise me. Baylor's goalie has played the entire season filling in for Baylor's injured goalie who has not played at all this year. This guy is a senior and had never played on varsity. He has done an outstanding job allowing just 9 goals....but with a strong defense. I just wanted to mention Breck Farrell though. He is very athletic to step in without any experience and contribute this way.

Obviously anyone can be scored on but look at their games and goals scored. Only 9 goals in 15 games. Lost 2 games by 1-0 scores. So yes their defense is awesome. What they need to do is find the net more often or it will catch up with them. They have consistenly outshot their opponent even in games lost....but still usually only score 1,2 or 3 goals a game. So yes they defense is very capable of shut outs but the offense need to step it up.

That's laughable! Revenge for what. Baylor outshot and played Webb...was not as close of the 1-0 score. Webb was lucky it was only 1-0. Baylor wins 2-0. They will not score on the Red.

Based on what and besides CBHS who would knock either Baylor or McCallie off early? Just curious as to you logic.

Baylor will advance to state I believe. Have played an extremely tough schedule and have only lost 2 games both by 1 goal. Have only allowed 9 goals thru 15 games so far. Need to put the ball in the net more often. But an extremely good defensive team and they and McCallie I see advancing in state DII.

Nothing gives the goalie a right to shove 2 players and anyone that saw the game knows that he was certainly not in the right. As for the goalies Baylors goalie is the one that had to leave the game with a possible concussion. ND's goalie was clearly in the wrong no matter how you cut it.

Baylor and McCallie in DII East. Would love a rematch in that game.

Should be another great DII game. Let's see McCallie beat Baylor 1-0...even though Baylor pretty much dominated the game. Baylor beat Webb 1-0. This one could easily go either way but I will go with Webb 2-1. This could make for a 3 way tie with Baylor, McCallie and Webb.

I agree I can't believe ND's keeper was not given a card for shoving not 1 but 2 Baylor players. Anyway, Notre Dame played probably their best game. Baylor was off and missed Fynn for sure. I believe also these were the first goals that ND has scored on Baylor in 8 years. It was a good tie for them.

I will go with Baylor 3-1. Have not seen Notre Dame play and know they are very good. But from similar teams that have played Baylor beat McMinn 3-0 and Notre Dame lost to them 1-0. They lost to Father Ryan 2-1 and Baylor tied Father Ryan 1-1 this past Saturday. However, you can't always go by that for sure. Should be a great game.

Baylor tied them but dominated and really should have won this. I think Baylor will go far this year. Hope the Red Raiders get a rematch with McCallie in the district. Also in Nashville this weekend Baylor beat Brentwood Academy 3-0 and McCallie lost to Brentwood today 2-0...go figure.

Baylor and McCallie both traveled to Nashville this weekend to each play Father Ryan and Brentwood Academy. Baylor defeated Brentwood Academy 3-0 Friday night while McCallie lost to Brentwood today 2-0. McCallie lost to Father Ryan last night 2-1 while Baylor and Father Ryan tied today 1-1. Baylor had the upper hand on shots against Father Ryan but just could not put it in the net to break the tie. Just like against McCallie which Baylor also had more shots on goal and had the upper hand....Baylor could not find the net. The Red Raiders are very talented and have the ability to go far this year in state if they find the net with the opportunities that they are creating. Notre Dame is next up for Baylor next Tuesday.

Sorry did not mean any kind of a dig by that. I just think Webb has the potential to beat McCallie. McCallie can just as easily win. Baylor, McCallie and Webb have excellent teams. And the Big Red and Blue each represent Chattanooga well in soccer. Do you have any idea if Baylor, McCallie and Webb end 1-1 how the seeding will play out? Thanks.

I am not sure if Webb beats McCallie and then Baylor, McCallie and Webb have identical records what it means in DII seedings. Does anyone have any information on this?

Baylor looked strong even though they won only by 1-0 score. Webb is a very good team. I think they can beat McCallie next week ...if so it would make a very interesting senario.

I ASSURE YOU THAT BAYLOR COACHES AND PLAYERS DO KNOW OF WEBB AND WILL NOT TAKE IT FOR GRANTED. THIS WILL BE ANOTHER GREAT GAME AND BAYLOR REALLY NEEDS IT AFTER NOT FINISHING THE GAME AGAINST MCCALLIE THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE WON. REGARDLESS, WEBB IS ALWAYS GOOD. BAYLOR WILL WIN THIS ONE 2-0 AND LOOK FORWARD TO A REMATCH LATER WITH MCCALLIE.

It was a great game but even as the newspaper said this game had the best two teams in the area playing...but it did not clear up who was the best team. Baylor outplayed McCallie...but could not finish. First half was totally dominated by Baylor. But the score is all that matters and McCallie took this won. Baylor should get a rematch in the playoffs....Baylor will come out of top then.
