  1. Thanks for topping off the fluids at the Jiffy Lube. Maybe you can get a raise from that $6/hr. they give you. At least it leaves you time to make 7000+ posts on this site. Simple math would be... LHS 52 BHS 10 dare to dream about THAT loser-breath!!!
  2. I'm not sure who "blcakman" is, but Blackman High School was on the wrong end of a total beat-down tonight. Please keep picking against LHS...it pretty much insures a victory when brain-dead people pick against the Wol- va - rines!!!!
  3. I'm not even sure who Maurice Grooms is, thus can't possibly be him. That much is a given. "dare" is an idiot with no life, so if he has something against this "Grooms" guy, then Grooms must be a pretty good guy. (whoever he is) 7000+ posts on one forum - meaning all Coach T and excluding Titans boards, Preds boards, college sports boards, NBA boards, etc.etc.etc. = NO LIFE!!! NO LIFE = BIGTIME LOSER!!!!! p.s. - I'll be stopping by Jiffy Lube in a few minutes. Make sure you "dare to" top off the fluids.
  4. No need to worry about some loser that doesn't have a life with over 7,000 posts on ONE forum in much less than a year.
  5. Get there early and don't wander off during halftime - both bands are good.
  6. They won 1st last night at APSU over Columbia, Houston High (best Memphis band), Marion Arkansas, Lavergne, Hendersonville, Riverdale, etc... They must be pretty good. The judges liked them.
  7. If "dare to dream" didn't make almost 7000 posts on one chat board in approx. 9 months time, maybe he would have a few minutes to "dare to dream" something original on his own instead of questioning the originality (or lack of) in what other schools are doing. Maybe?? (seriously - do you take a laptop with you when you go whizz, so you can keep posting without stopping?)
  8. If Oakland doesn't win the game, they probably won't be in the playoffs. Just a hunch.
  9. Oh yeh...this is a FB board... I think out of the last 3 games for LHS, Blackman will be the toughest. And no, I don't teach or coach in Rutherford County or anywhere else.
  10. I wish I did. I love hoops. It would be more interesting than being a corporate travel agant - which is what I have been for the last NINE YEARS. Yep. That's my "day gig." I was in sales in the music biz for years but copped out for the 9 to 5 office world. Sorry that I am not the teacher and/or coach you know. If you need advice on basketball, I am somewhat qualified to provide that - but I still am not whoever it is you know. I have no idea who that is or who YOU are. Did he flunk you in geometry or something? Why are you so p.o.'d at the guy?
  11. Look at the basketball boards old posts...the only coaching I did was 12 & under aau hoops. Check it out. North Rutherford Grizzlies..we were looking for extra players and teams in middle TN to scrimmage. I've never coached football in my life. I didn't even play FB. I have no idea who you are talking about. Seriously.
  12. I've never been a teacher or coach (except youth league basketball) - I work at a corporate office near Franklin ...do you have me confused with somebody else who went to Hillwood but likes Lavergne?? Could that person also be a Memphis Grizzlies basketball fan? What are the odds? I'll try to figure out who that is, but right now - not a clue. Sorry. In the meanwhile, as long as LHS doesn't start the game in a kraptacular way (like at Lebanon and Oakland) - they SHOULD win vs. Siegel...nothing is ever 100% guaranteed though.
  13. last game: siegel - 8 passes completed for 37 yards Lavergne - 16 for 235 After carefully looking at the facts...LHS by 2 to 3 td's
  14. Glad you liked the LHS show...but Gallatin won the sweepstakes last night in Waverly...oh well. Both bands sounded great.
  15. One thing is for sure: LAVERGNE 23 - murf. choakland 17 It's a final.
  16. Good show you did...were you the tall or short DM? You must have been talking to Joe (latin-american looking guy) super intelligent, was all-everything in band. Looks like you guys didn't have as many in the band this fall as last fall. Still was pretty cool tunes you played. A few of the band parents on the LHS side something about your drummers not marching...not a put-down at all, they just were used to seeing the drummers march with the horns. Your color guard was awesome again. Wow!! Sorry to spoil homecoming but LHS had already lost one at Lebanon they "weren't supposed to lose on paper" - so last night was a MUST win situation. If LHS didn't pull that game out, the entire season could have gone straight to the krapper. Oh yeh, great job on Santana's "Evil Ways"!!!!!!
  17. Have to give Cooper at least co-player of the game. The last int. - happened in front of where I was sitting and was a thing of beauty. That int. return - tightrope the sidelines and cut back accross the field to use clock and turn filed position was awesome as the crowd went nuts. Apparantly the other team didn't like it too much. Back-to-back-to-back "LAUNDRY....ON-THE-FIELD" for unsportsmanlike and/or personal fouls? Oakland didn't need to go there. That showed a huge lack of maturity on the part of some of their players. btw...Is Whetstone injured? Will he be back for the Siegel game??
  18. What happened: LHS offense out of sync in the 1st half. 3 total points. 2nd half - LHS drives the length of the field but A-rod underthrows a guy who is whie open in the end zone and score stays 17-3. LHS blocks the next Oakland punt. This puts life back into the LHS team and crowd. LHS scores on like the next play. Their side of the crowd goes wild. The entire rest of the game is all LHS except for a bad snap on an extra point and forgetting to go for 2 on the next TD (???) to only make it a 6 point game. Except for the bad snap and not going for 2 when it was obviously what 99% of the time would have been done, LHS dominated even more in the 2nd half than Oakland did in the first. (maybe because LHS was out of time outs - no time to set up a two point play?) Like the guy said on the radio postgame show "it was a tale of two halves." LHS is now a serious threat to make the playoffs but can't start games like they did tonight or the way they started at Lebanon. "hsfootball" made some remarkable catches tonight for LHS...I think he had to reel one in with his fingernails to preserve a drive -he was THE player of the game in my opinion. The other highlight was the LHS band pregame show. "Oogie-Boogie Man" RULES!!!
  19. Laundry for the most dirty late hit perhaps in the history of midstate high school football - ON OAKLAND...I can't understand how the kid wasn't thrown out of the game. Anyway, nice choke job Oakland. After LHS blocked that punt in the 3rd qtr. even Oakland fans were saying LHS was going to end up winning and they did.
  20. Listen to "Denmaster" - he knows. He patented the phrase: "LAUNDRY....ON-THE-FIELD!" p.s. - LHS doesn't have Giles Co. on the schedule. Maybe you have them confused with Centannial, a school near Franklin, TN?? Anyway, LHS wins this one.
  21. What the heck is a "saw yall"?? Can you buy one at Home Depot?? LOL
  22. Lavergne over Oakland by about 20-7 (with a missed extra point on a bad snap)
  23. That's the knock I hear on Blackmans band...that they don't go to band competitions. They do sound good at games. I like the classic rock stuff. Hey..HFTB..if the weather if good, I'll be seeing your band Friday night.
  24. LHS by 14. (after winning at Columbia 34-0, they have to feel like they are running downhill compared to playing Smyrna, Riverdale, etc.)
