Maryville went to Halls and defeated the Red Devils 8-2. The Rebels got a two-run double from Derek Rang in the 1st and went up 3-0 on some Halls errors. Brown Watson and Alex Rouse hit home runs for the Rebels. They scored 7 runs of the tough lefty Lockwood. Looking for another good game at Farragut.

Halls pitched a right-hander against Maryville last time. He threw pretty hard but Maryville also had some hard hits. Alex Rouse hit a two-run homer off him.

I know Maryville has already beat Halls (7-2) earlier in the Oak Ridge Tourney. Any thoughts on the game??

Maryville is now 22-5.

Maryville came out ready to play. They scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st and Derek Rang hit a 2 run homer to center. They added 1 in the second and 4 or 5 in the third. Alex Rouse hit a solo homer in the 4th as well as Brandon Burchfield in the 5th. Maryville's David Parker struggled some but got the outs we he needed them. Should be a good game at Farragut.

Farragut will slaughter both of them

Maryville travels to West monday and hosts Heritage on tuesday

Maryville went 4-0 in the tournament beating Halls 7-2, Kingston 11-1, Kingsport DB 2-0, and Morristown East 9-1.

Maryville is 10-2 overall with a 5-1 district record. Beat West, William Blount, Karns. Losses were at Farragut and at Powell
