  1. What's the saying from The Mighty Ducks? Something like, "There's no point in winning if you can't win big!" ? Who doesn't love the Hawks? I mean everyone has their little thing for the Ducks, but you have to admire the Hawks. They go out there and just dominate. Whereas the Ducks resort to cheating and still lose. Of course, for the sake of Hollywood, they end up winning in the end, but that's not what I am getting at. That's not real sports... Real sports, you are supposed to go out there and give your all no matter what. No matter the team, no matter the score, whether up by 10+ or down by 10+. A team should never quit trying. In my opinion. Telling a team not to score, is telling them to quit trying.

  3. Well, Wando lost 1-0 (6-5 PKS).. so I guess Farragut got 2nd? Oh well, atleast they went 4-0 and played the toughest teams down there.
  4. Big win for Farragut. DVD1, I was just going by the info I had read and was given to sc soccer fans... It was made more clear today as to that all 4 coaches decided this. Don't know why that wasn't made clear first before everyone got upset over it... Either way, enough about that. Huge win for TN soccer. Keep up the good work Admirals.
  5. Understandable that you would come to that conclusion. Where did you get your info that all 4 coaches decided this? That makes a lot more sense than what I read, but that doesn't make it correct now does it?
  6. Who said I was getting it from a Farragut person?
  7. Someone agreeing with me? on coacht? Thanks BigG! made my day. hahaha. Of course, all this confusion is just IF Farragut wins tomorrow morning. If they don't then none of this matters. Will be interesting to see what happens. May have to wake up early on a Saturday for once.
  8. G, all I know.. is that "*** Should Farragut defeat Wando in the Semifinals, then the Admirals will be declared 2010 Palmetto Cup Champions. Wando will play in the 6:30 p.m., match regardless of winning or losing in the Semifinals and will either play for the title or second place. This was agreed on by Wando and Farragut since they achieved the highest point totals. Farragut has to return to Knoxville, Tenn., mid-morning because the FHS Senior Prom is Saturday night." No one seems to like that only Farragut and Wando agreed on this. Seeing as how the original rules were.. "*** Should Farragut-TN reach the Semifinals, then the Admirals' opponent in the Semifinals will play in the Championship because FHS has to return to Knoxville for their school prom that night. Farragut, should they qualify for the Semifinals, will automatically play in the 8:30 a.m., Saturday contest." The only fair way in my opinion to do this IF Farragut wins is..... the winner of the other semi final should be crowned champion if Farragut defeats Wando. Farragut would just forfeit the championship game. Not the semi final. The loser of a semi final doesn't deserve a shot at the championship because they lost. Farragut would just become runner-up. That's the only way to do it fairly if Farragut beats Wando. <---why that wasn't the original rule I have no idea... but again, thats just my opinion.
  9. Apparently some people in SC aren't happy with the way the tournament may turn out. Supposedly Farragut and Wando agreed to the terms that if Farragut wins their game, they would be crowned champions. Wando would advance to play the winner of the other semi final match to play for 2nd place. Farragut would become champions because after their semi final match, they have to leave to come back to Knoxville for prom. Everyone seems to think this is unfair and ruins the tournament. Anyone have any thoughts?
  10. so, Farragut lost to Noblesville (IN) 10-1? Any details? Still confused on why Farragut pitched their best pitcher against the worst team in the district. And their 2nd best pitcher against possibly the 2nd worst team. That just doesn't make any sense.
  11. Farragut wins 3-1. Huge win for the Admirals and TN soccer.
  12. Farragut 3-1 still a few minutes left.
  13. Farragut still up 2-1. Bout 72 minutes in. Northwestern's supposed best player hasn't played since about 10 minutes left in the first half..
  14. 60 minutes in. Farragut still up 2-1.
  15. 1-1 30 minutes in. Farragut leading shots 3-1.
  16. NW up 1-0 already. 4 minutes in.
  17. yeah the feed is ok, i can't tell if it is my internet or what, but it keeps having to buff or whatever.. usually my internet is fine with anything on espn3.com so i dont think thats the problem? but when the connection is going, it is pretty decent for webcams being 20 yards away from the field.. i am thinking that NW will come away with the win. They seem to have a few playmakers who can almost score at will, Farragut to my knowledge doesn't really have that true goal scorer this year.
  18. Farragut beat Norman North (OK) 1-0 on Wednesday. Northwestern beat Norman North 7-2 yesterday. Had a stretch in the game where 5 goals were scored in 6 minutes, 6 goals in 13 minutes.. Should be an interesting game.. You can watch a live stream of the game Broadcasting Software interesting color commentary by people in the press box. Not sure how the feed is today, it's not the greatest quality as it is from a webcam. But today they have a second camera so you can see both sides of the field.. It's an ok watch. can't really see midfield, but can you really complain? It is high school soccer, and they just decided to throw up the webcams and put it online.
  19. from my understanding BigG some South Carolina people seem impressed with Farragut. They said their back line was really good and they are really sound defensively. Northwestern (SC) and Norman North (OK) are getting ready to play. Should be a good game between 2 top 15 spring teams. They are streaming the game with a webcam, not the greatest quality, but better than hitting the refresh button every few minutes to get updates on a forum? Only get to see about half the field though, and theres a giant pole... haha. like I said though, better than nothing. Theres live commentary too from the pressbox.. Interesting color commentary... with side conversations. Broadcasting Software Here is a little bit about it from ESPNrise.. http://rise.espn.go.com/boys-soccer/articles/2010/04/08-Games-to-Watch.aspx
  20. Farragut 1 Pinewood Prep (SC) 0 Farragut is 2-0 so far in SC. They play Northwestern tomorrow.
