  1. VY is the best thing to happen to the Titans since Mcnair bottom line. Furthermore, he is the only chance they have for a superbowl ring. He will lead the titans to victory!! (hopefully...maybe not, but hes still a perfect match for the titans and def. the best rookie Qb despite what others say about lienart)
  2. Im not sure what you mean by "if he plays tennis" Are you saying cutters doesnt even play tennis? or play for siegal? well anyway, I am pretty sure he couldnt beat tadd because I know he is not Kyle and even if he was I still think Tadd could beat him so yes I am pretty sure.
  3. First of all, you dont know who I am and wheter or not I could beat Kyle. Second of all, Im talking because you are insulting Tadd when Im pretty sure you couldnt beat him, while I am not insulting Kyle. I am not in any way putting Kyle down, but instead stating that I think Tadd is "on Kyles level".
  4. im pretty sure he could beat you...o wait you said anyone at the top ok sry my bad.
  5. ARE YOU JOKING? that is absolutely ridiculous. Now maybe kyle beat tadd the last time or whatever, but there is no way you can say that tadd is not on kyle's level. look at tadds record. he has beaten some pretty good people.
  6. I agree with what your saying that those people who dont play competitive tennis shouldnt act like they know all about it, but im pretty sure everyone in this bulliten knows what their talking about since we are all either from siegal or bearden and i think everyone starts top 5 (but im not sure about that). Also, regarding the new ranking system, theoretically it is good and is more accurate a ranking system, but in acuality it doesnt work quite as well. I know the old ranking system was quite confusing and complicated to keep track of on your own, and the new one would work perfectly if everyone played in alot of tournaments. It is based on the ranking system in the atp tour, however, the pros obviously all pretty much play all the same high level tournaments so it works much better.
  7. yea ok whatever. maroon not marron please learn to spell thanks.
  8. I would also like to point out that it is very difficult to play tennis with a broken arm. (Craig Rockett has a broken arm and has since before Rotary.) Of course I have never played with a broken arm but I assume it would be somewhat challenging.
  9. Yes, I do play top 5. Do you? No names or positions though, I believe it is better if we all remain anonymous. Now would you please answer my other question, who is your #4? Also, I agree with you that it will be close if we play at state, but you say Kyle will be more motivated but do you not also think Hunter will be as well? Since this was the first time Maltsberger and Wishing have played (at least recently) I think it is unfair to keep saying that Wishing played bad and could win if he played good. Hunter deserves to be recognized as the better player until Kyle proves otherwise (see my first post on this topic). Now with that said, I do realize that Wishing is a very good player and will be difficult to beat again as will your whole team. I look forward to playing you all at state.
  10. I agree no one can be called the best team in the state because no team has played all the other top teams. We will find out whos the best team after its all played out. Also, sorry I didn't notice it was referring only to midstate, in that case I agree Siegal is probably the best but I'm not too familiar with the teams from that region.
  11. I dont think you can accurately predict a match merely based on records let alone records from a year ago. Also, Craig Rockett seems to have fallen into somewhat of a slump since last year. Even so, Rahnema did not perform too well in tournaments last year, but has recently gotten back on top of his game. Also, who is your #4 player? It seems like you keep refering to him as "our #4" so I was just wondering who he is.
  12. Bearden, Siegal, Science Hill, and Brentwood are the top four contenders for the state title. Bearden def. Siegal last Sat. so I think it is inappropriate to continue to call Siegal the best team in the state.
  13. I agree with your prediction except for the tossups. Also, I would like to point out that at state only the top 5 are played and only two doubles (which im sure all of you already knew), but I want to point out that this greatly helps Bearden should they play Siegal at state. Singles #1: Bearden (going by Hunters 4,2 win over Kyle) #2: Bearden (im sure this one is not arguable) #3: Siegal (Siegal was up a set so it goes to them) #4: Bearden (Rahnema will beat Siegal's "real" #4) #5: Siegal (although Lanz split sets apparently he was playing Siegals #6) Doubles #1: Bearden (Hunter and Taylor have proven the dominate team here) #2: Tossup (this is the only true tossup because there is no way to predict the outcome, but at this point Bearden has already clinched the win) Now remember this is merely a prediction from a Bearden player, I am not trying to say we will win because it is very possible that we do not, but in my opinion this is the most likely scenerio.
  14. I would just like to say that in no way was I implying that no one else has a remote chance of beating us. I was merely stating the we are one of the big contenders ALONG with Siegal, Science Hill, Brentwood and maybe a couple others. I admit that Siegal is a very strong team and will be tough to beat, however, I feel Bearden is the same way. I look forward to making it to State and hopefully playing you all again. (I hope thats classy enough.)
  15. My apologies. I was writing my post as you posted yours.
  16. I play for Bearden and I am curious, who are you Dawgs2? Also, I am glad to see my post was so convincing that no one dared to reply. Please, lets have some contradiction here. I know everyone truley knows Bearden is the best team in the state, but at least act like you think you have a chance.
  17. First of all I would like to state that I am from Bearden and so am probably inclined to be biased in favor of them. With that said I would like to point out that "having a bad day" is not an excuse or reason for losing. If you lose, you lost and the winning player should be giving the deserved respect and considered the better player until proven otherwise. This same concept applies to teams as well. Bearden defeated Siegal and thus deserves to be called the better team until Siegal can prove otherwise. Predictions, line-up changes, and excuses should not be accepted as reality. The only true information on which we can compare these two teams is the match-up last Saturday when Bearden defeated Siegal 4-2. So the only true predictions we can make should be based on that: Singles 1: Bearden (Maltsberger def. Wishing 4,2) 2: Bearden (Patrick def. Hale 0,1) 3: Siegal (Edwards up a set against Acker) 4: Bearden (Rahnema def. Siegals #5 1,2) 5: Siegal 6: Siegal Now for a comment on Siegal missing a player and the doubles situatuon. Rahnema def. Siegals apparent #5 player (1,2) which in my opinion permits us to predict that Rahnema will def. Siegals "true" #4. Although I'm sure Siegal fans and players will argue this, I am quite confident of this. Also, Acker had not yet lost the match at #3 and, in my opinion, still had an excellant chance to come back and win. Now, with the addition of Siegals #4 the doubles line-up will change, however I believe it will have little to no effect. Rahnema/Acker def. Wishing and Siegals #5 (I do not know his name, my apologies) 8-3. With the addition of Siegals #4, Wishing and #4 will be playing #1 doubles. In my opinion, the addition of this one player does not warrent a win over Acker/Rahnema who won 8-3, and moste definately not a win over Beardens #1 doubles, Maltsberger/Patrick (Maltsberger def. Wishing, Patrick def. Hale who plays 2 spots above Siegals #4). Acker/Rahnema should take a win against Siegals #2 doubles as well, for Maltsberger/Patrick def. them 8-4 and Acker/Rahnema should win as well. It is obvious that not all of you will agree, but I believe I reasonably stated a very strong arguement that Bearden, not Siegal is and will be named the best team in the state. I am aware of the Science Hill threat, however, Bearden is the stronger team and we should be given the respect we deserve. We are definately the most underrated team, but we are certainly not underdogs.
