this is despicably wrong... even the way "some bearden players are playing" TN high is not favored. it may not be a blowout and it will of course be "a match" but i dont believe that TN high is actually the favorite. thanks.

at number three rhanema also had 2 set points at 5-3 in the first set and lost the second point because of a questionable call. fulton at 4 was winning and had a close match which he should have won, so if bearden can win those two matches along with maltsbergers win (which was close as well) they would go into doubs up 3-2... of course bearden didnt win those two matches and i cant really justifying saying that they should have but i can say that the bearden players were winning and the matches were close so even though the overall score was 5-1 bearden is still a contender against science hill

i wont give specific predictions but ill tell you right now this one will come down to doubles, and bearden has very strong 1 and 2 doubles teams...it will be a good match

From someone not on the Webb team I will say that parks, tadd, and taylor are certainly on an upper tier compared to walling, haydek, and mackabee. Another thing, In regards to the 4-6 beating/splitting sets with the 1-3, I know that sometimes those 1-3 don't try their hardest in practice. This is obviously not good, but realistically it happens. Now, I'm not saying that its impossible for any of the 4-6 to split sets or even beat the 1-3 occasionally, but its not very likely if everyone is trying their hardest. Mackabee may think otherwise, but the line-up speaks for itself.

Anyone know who won the Science Hill vs. TN High match? It was yesterday and since TNtnns_07 didn't post that TN High won I'm assuming that they lost, but I could be wrong so does anyone know?

Your posts are simple personal attacks on people whom you do not know. Probably due to some self-esteem issues. And speaking of wit, I am going to refrain from using any in this post (please do not attempt an insult along the lines of "where have you ever used wit" or something similar) so as to explain a few things to you. Also, thank you for pointing out the one and only typo in all of my posts, that certainly discredited my whole arguement. My whole point is that the past is the past and we (Bearden) are not giving excuses why we didn't win state, while you (not even siegel since you have no affiliation with them since you don't even live in TN) were giving an excuse for why we beat Segiel in the tri-match. Yes, at one point you did mention that we beat you...etc but just because you say it once does not validate giving an excuse for the loos afterwards. Furthermore, I am not being hypocritical because I never called siegel cocky. I may have said that Harris is talking smack, which he was, but I never said anything bad about talking smack. Please feel free to talk up your 07 team and state who you think will win. It also does not matter who Harris is. Of course I do not know who he is just as he does not know who I am, but the point I was trying to make was that whoever he is he doesn't play for siegel (as he has already said) and he is obviously not the siegel coach (because he stated that he no longer lives in TN). Harris obviously enjoys posting on message boards (with almost 5,000 posts) and obviously believes that his "witty banter" is far superior to the logic which I have portrayed (although I do believe my wit surpasses his, but I really do not care). And Harris, please refrain from immature insults such as "Me>You" or references to my beautiful first grade drawings on the REFRIGERATOR. Very informative post. Thanks for your input I'll take that into consideration and get back to you. But, it's kind of late and I think my tennis club is closed... Good try at a clever insult, though. Take some tips from Harris, hes got some wit to him. Oh I've got one...If you spent half the time you spend reading the crap I write on on here as you did on the tennis court you might actually beat a Bearden player for once. How was that? Any input for me? I also couldn't help but notice that you have posted 239 posts on coacht while I have only posted 37... can you do simple math or is that in next year's curriculum? Also, I find it funny that you said this earlier in this topic: "The top three schools in this order are: Bearden, Siegel, Science Hill Tennessee High is the next in line, but its a big step down from those three, West TN has a few decent teams but they don't have alot of depth."

I am well aware of what you are talking about and I don't see how saying "whatever choices a player makes that effects his game is his fault. Furthermore, the match was not even early in the morning and whatever stupid things the players did the night before would not have effected them that much, or else I dont believe they would have done them" would lead you to think otherwise... If you can't play with a hangover why would you engage in activities that would result in one the day before a tennis match? As I was trying to say before I doubt it had as much effect as you claim (meaning I doubt they drank so much that would actually have a bad hangover which, in my book, would require puking and I didn't see any of that going on) because I doubt the siegel players are that stupid...I may be wrong. Learn to drink, especially if your going to do it the night before a tough tennis match, even if its because you want to have an excuse if you lose (or just learn to make up better excuses). Either that or next time try some potasium pills, I hear they work like a charm.

Obviously we have proven ourselves as a threat; we wanted recognition last year and we got that. Now we wont some rings and we will get those too. Well of course your not talking smack...and neither am I when I say: Bearden dominated siegel in the tri-match last season despite any excuses you may come up with (I've never heard so many excuses from one team before). Yes, we did choke against Science Hill, and we can make up excuses as well such as Maltsberger cramping (and defaulting) while up on Smith, or Rahnema choking with a match point, but instead I will say Science Hill played a good match and beat us. On the other hand, however, we beat siegel. Now granted, siegel won the rings, but I believe we beat you all 7-0 (or 7-1 or something with one or two matches unfinished) which is, in my book, considered domination. Perhaps you think that is a close score; just a matter of opinion I suppose. Now on to your pitiful excuse. Even TN state's excuse about sitting around too long is better than yours; whatever choices a player makes that effects his game is his fault. I don't believe anyone has mentioned the fact that Hunter Maltsberger owned Wishing last year (I think owned would be appropriate here dont you agree Harris?) And if Hunter can beat Kyle (this is obviously undebatable because Hunter beat Kyle...no excuses please), then Parks can beat Kyle as well. Parks is most definately the better player and this is coming from someone not on either the Webb or siegel team. Of course you're going to think that Kyle would win because you either are Kyle or you play for siegel. Look at David's record and I think it is obvious that he has consistantly beaten players better than Kyle.

I agree. TN High will lose to science hill. I take back anything I said before about TN High needing to prove themselves against Science Hill because that will not happen. Thank you and goodnight.

I think all you TN high people have got a case of the "kiser walk". you walk around like your great and such an opposing threat when in reality your nothing more than insecure about your team. Just because you WANT to be better than webb, bearden, siegel, etc. doesnt mean you ARE...

Sterotyping a whole city as "stuck up @$#%^&" seems slightly arrogant to me... The fact is TN High has shown no results and while your line-up is not bad, when compared to bearden, siegel, or the unmodest webb it can not be seen as a potent threat. Second of all, when a team blows another team out (ie. webb over tn high) the winning team can hardly be called unmodest, especially if the losing team is making up bogus excuses simply so that they will be held in higher regard. In reality, making up excuses does not make other people think that your team is better but was just unlucky (since you had to wait around so long and the webb team didnt have to wait at all...somehow) but rather makes others see you as merely a sore loser who is trying to compensate for their ablility with excuses. Don't post a message saying how good your team is, instead how about winning some matches and showing us how good you are. TN high gained no players this year so I don't see them beating science hill. This is just a prediction and honestly I have no preference toward either team. Does anyone know when this match (science hill vs. tn high) is?

yea taylor patrick will not be playing for bearden this year but we did gain jimmy fulton. Id say knox catholic is the team to watch out for in A-AA (i think thats the right division) and bearden is still one of the favorites for the AAA state title despite losing patrick. bearden also gained james dail in the top 6 line-up and thus is still extremely deep and solid.

How about Christopher Williams from West??? He should take the AAA state singles title.
