  1. Hoover will be down...they might not even win their region. If you want to play a team from Alabama in the next few years try Prattville,Daphne,Vestavia or Opelika.
  2. They played 5A Heritage and William Blount.
  3. Why not? I think a Maryville/Daphne game would be alot better than Mitchell/Daphne. I dont know about Hoover. They have seen the last of their domination in Alabama. STARSNBARS I think you have been looking in the wrong places! Alot of good looking girls down there in the beach area. You cant forget about the Kristens in the Bham area too!
  4. i read on the other forum that Mitchell will travel to the Mobile,Al area to play 6A Daphne. Looks like the Tigers will have a tough task ahead of em. I hope they travel well. They will be in a tough environment down there. I think Maryville or a team like that should have went down there.www.TheDaphneTrojans.com
  5. Wow,tough team for Mitchell. They went 7-4. You can search this site for more on them. Im not a fan so i cant tell you about players, traditions, etc. I'm familiar with Daphne's program. My son plays at Hazel Green and I used to live in Alabama a few years ago. IMO it will be a totally different atmosphere from what Mitchell is used to. Daphnes used to playing in big home games like Hoover and Prattville and playing in front of 10,000+. I remember watching them on 2 a days.
  6. Hoover is not the best team in Alabama this year. Teams like Daphne and Prattville could beat them. A matchup with Maryville would be interesting though.
  7. Awesome show! I can do without the teenage drama though. I hear MTV cameras will roll once again on Monday for season 2. They have a great program at Hoover. As we speak, Hoover holds a 31-0 2nd Q lead over 5a UMS Wright who won their 3rd straight state title last year. Just goes to show how good their team is.
  8. The series premiere of "2 A Days" will air tonight on MTV at 9:30. MTV followed The Hoover Bucs last season on a quest for a state championship. The trailor looks pretty cool.
  9. Offended by Alabama football I see. I enjoy TN ball but I also follow football in Texas,Florida,Georgia and Alabama.Ever been to a game of national interest? There is nothing like it. Its good to take a break from the locals and look outside of this state sometimes. Our crimson neighbors' take on HS football is a little different. They have preseason games on billboards.
  10. Yeah Hoover and Daphne are always the top 2 teams.I think they've played each other for the state title every year since 2000. Like many teams, Daphne can't seem to beat them(with the exception of DHS' 01 48-21 win). Every year I try to catch the super6 action in Bama.

Some great games are on tap this season down in Alabama. They have Hoover Vs.Union,OK and Hoover Vs. John Curtis,LA. Daphne Vs. Tallahassee-Lincoln,FL.Prattville Vs. Opelika. Just to name a few.
  12. Thanks for the info. Nease should make a good matchup. They still should be good without Tebow. Did you see them on tv last year?
  13. I heard Memphis U contacted Daphne,Alabama for a 06 match-up. Anyone know anything about this deal?
