Maybe I shouldn't have been too harsh, are you talking about how they finished this year or how they are gonna be next year without this years seniors? If so, I would drop Page a couple of spots, drop BGA, move Ravenwood up and move Centennial up. Ravenwood possibly has improved the most this season, because they were so young? Page is losing Nick Marrs and Patrick Evans (that's off the top of my head) BGA is losing Cole Rose who might have been the most important player of everyone to his team. Franklin will still be tough next year, O'Rourke could be district mvp. Brentwood will be Brentwood and still be a hard game to win. Centennial had alot of injuries this year, playing the last 8 or 9 games without their best player Konrad Waliszewski and I look for them to improve drastically. I'm sure BA's freshmen will take a huge leap and be stars next year. But that's just my opinion

I am not sure if this is the name of it, but "Heaven is a Playground", the one about the 2 best friends and one of them dies on the court? Based on a true story, Gomab do ya know what im talking about? Anyone else? Love and Basketball and He got game are classics too. Hoosiers, wow what a great movie.

Since we are all throwing out ref stories, I'll share a weird one. Earlier this year we were playing a game and during a timeout our coach was yelling at us and the ref called a tech on him for yelling at us! :confused:

Comparing these two players, I would have to say that Konrad is the better player. O'Rourke isn't near the defender that Waliszewski is. Franklin has a better supporting cast and the big guys inside for Franklin open it up for O'Rourke. He is a great leader no doubt but I think Konrad gets the team more involved whereas John is just a scorer. Both are great shooters and are good at attacking the basket.

I heard maybe there was a fight at Franklin? During a commercial it showed the courts and it looked like Franklin's court and maybe they were playing Hickman County? ANybody have any info on this?

On a side note tonight, Centennial defeated Spring Hill pretty handily... jr sg Konrad Walisezski had a school record 34 points and 6 three pointers. Who do you guys think will end up winning their respective districts?

With a tie game winding down, Konrad Waliszweksi drove into the lane and made a floater and was fouled with no time left on the clock. The ref called a charging foul when the Franklin player was in the air going for a block. The Cougars lost in overtime. I am pretty sure the refs called a charge bc some people were saying they called a foul on the defense, but that would have led to freethrows or if it was before the shot, there woulda been time left on the clock. Either way, you win some and you lose some. I am not a sore loser, and to the Franklin bball team, you guys played with a lot of heart and you are alot better team than ur record shows. Good luck to you the rest of the year!

I've seen Cole play alot of times and that kid is the real deal. He is prolly the most fundementally sound player i've seen. I dont know why but for some reason, he reminds me of a shorter Mike Dunleavy. Which colleges are looking at Cole?

Who won the Spring Hill/ Ravenwood game on Tuesday night? Haha, I bet that game was sold out!

I think one of the more underrated defenders is Konrad Waliszewski from Centennial. I know their coach preaches team defense but this kid examplifies defense. He's taken the most charges and his defensive stance is nearly perfect. He's guarded some of the most athletic players in the state and contained em.

Man, after this far in the season, who woulda thought Hillwood would be number one in the district??? That's really suprising, they have a incredible player in Jason Harrison. Another shocker is Overton, they are 4-1 and their new coach has them believing, which is the key to winning. The winner of this district may have 4 or 5 district losses, its that balanced. I still think that Hillsboro is overrated and that Brentwood is been given too much credit. Somebody on this site said that Brentwood could be a state championship team....c'mon now is that really true. They do have a great record though. Centennial has been hit hard with injuries and finally have all their players healthy, look for them to start their winning ways. They went 3-1 and finished 3rd in the Freeport Tournament in Florida and when they came back, their most athletic player Bryce Carden was injured for the Hillwood game. When this team gets healthy, watch out for them. What do you guys think? Oh yeah I heard that Josh Refugee quit, does anybody know if this is true?

4-4, 2-1 district, getting nick ballantyne back from injury, hes finally healthy, hes prolly their best scorer, 6'3 pg shekeb folad is a great player, sg konrad waliszewski is a great player, 6'4 bryce carden is the most athletic kid on the team. even though their record doesnt show it, this is a heckuva team.
