Centennial lost 8 seniors last year. 6 who played a big role. They will be young as far as experience but will beat teams because they will be fundamentally sound and athletic. Dane Barren, Zandar Mayes both come from the football team. Point guard Chris Davis may be the best point in the district. This kid is a true leader. Centennial won't win the district but they will make the region tourney.

Konrad Walisewzki outta Centennial has got to be one of the best junniors in the state. He is averaging about 18 or 19 a game and was averaging 20 something points before he broke his hand at Overton. The thing that sets him apart though is his defense, hes one of the best on the ball defenders around. He dropped a school record 34 points against Spring Hill and look for him to have a huge year next year.

Centennial plays 3 teams who were in state championship games last season and with Franklin Pearl Cohn chs better be ready to strap it up.

Konrad is the better player but will not get to prove it until at least the district tournament because he is out with a broken hand.

This kid with a better supporting cast could easily be a distrcit MVP canadate he averages 16 pts a game and can shoot the three as well as anyone in the mid state the other night he had the flu but still managed to drop 34 points against a spring hill team that ran a box and one on him most of the secong half. This guy is better than Brentwood's Walker Campbell but doesn't get the publicity due to a bad record held by the cougars.

Brentwood as hated as they are to me is an accomplished program and deserves every ounce of respect they get and for the seniors leaving too bad but they return two of their biggest playmakers on defense in Kellen Moore and Ian Van Horne so I personally think that Brentwood Won't miss a beat in '03 and for those who say they can't play in the rain I guess you stayed in on The night of The Centennial game.

Centennial High Coach Greg Gregory turned a team of misfits into winner going from a 2-8 record to a 7-4 playoff contender also consider the fine work that defensive co-ordinator Mike Finney does. Congrats to the entire CHS staff and good luck next year. oh ya and Congratulations to Coach Gregory for being Williamson Co. Coach of the year.

Ravenwood is an interesting situation they are a bunch of real young kids playing at the varsity level. Yes, they work hard but they are terrible they are slow and they are small they will lose every game by 20 points or more how is this going to effect such a young teams moral in years to come? What were they thinking playing this team in a Varsity schedule? Well anyway good luck to this team? and hey I hope they Prove me wrong.

I've heard mixed things about Creek this year what are they like? Really to me it doesn't matter if Centennial gets production like that out of Carden, Walizewski, and Folad. they can beat anyone. This team will be a force to be reckoned with especially when Nick Ballantyne returns. Danny Meek hauled in 13 rebounds against Page but only scored 6 points Meek is a weapon offensively for the cougars he needs to get more touches. I think Centennial will upset Whites Creek what does everyone else think?

Monday night the Patriots come into what promises to be a hostile Centennial eniroment and play the cougars in their home opener. The crowd will be a factor in this game and they will talk among other things about Centennial's 22-0 thrashing of the sorry Page high football team. Centennial is young but aggresive i think chs wins by 10. what are everyone else's thougts?
