Wow...We just got spanked by Webb last night...I hope our crazy ranking is not going to our heads! The Webb offense picked our defense apart all night...The QB from Webb was accurate as heck..(just a Junior)...outshined our QB last night...Our QB threw 2 costly interceptions, one in the end zone and one close to it...and a lot of missed passes due to the ball being thrown way too hard at a close range...If any team that plays us is smart, they will run the offense that Webb ran...the Clinton Coaches and defense were so confused it seemed and didn't adjust...I will have to admint that Webb was the real deal..with those two running backs, which I heard were just freshman and sophomore...and the QB, they gave us a fit! Chapman was MVP for us..tough player. Hazelhurst was not effective on offense, but they didn't run him like they should have..??..he was tough on Defense for sure..I hope that we also learn some disicipline...personal foul calls cost us a TD...just stupid..that will cost you games...control your anger!! Hats off to Coach Herrell...he did seem to at least try to disicipline while coaching...but seemed to get an angry look from Shattuck when he tried to...that's a shame..we need that! Good Luck to Webb...and Clinton...get to work!

Clinton will always stink as long as they don't put the kids front and center that are trying to do the right things and let them set the example for the others!

It's not hard for #5 to be the best QB...he is the only one that was getting the opportunity! No, you are wrong, it is the coaching...and it's not the parents that MAKE their kid transfer, it's the kids that are tired of being done wrong and lied to and sold out in order to maybe win 2 football games. How could you even tell that the best QB was starting when the other QB never got to take a snap with the first team offense? If someone beats him out that is one thing and can be accepted, not the crap that happens at Clinton....

You are correct I am happy to hear about these 2 leaving....The two that left will do well and succeed in life....they are good christian boys....Best of Luck in all that they do and what character they brought to Clinton's programs. Huge loss for the Dragons....

Get your facts straight...nobody BEAT anyone out...it was TAKEN from Little by the wonderful, upstanding Clinton head coach and offensive coordinator. Not to mention that Stone's Dad is now a Clinton Football coach...how convenient...seeing the pieces come together here???? It was all part of a plan...when Little couldn't lose it on his own, they took it from him. He had a wonderful scrimmage against Kingston and the next week at practice, they gave him NO snaps!!!! Ask any Clinton parent and they will tell you the TRUTH, which is something that Shattuck does not know how to tell!! Lying to kids is pathetic! DTA (Don't trust ANDY)...that is what his own players say..... Catlett killed Clinton Football and Shattuck BURIED IT!! Best of Luck to the boys who have enough sense to transfer out of a DEAD Clinton program and go somewhere to better themselves as a person...Integrity goes a long, long way in life.....maybe the Clinton Football program should try using it just once..... By the way, the QB at Grace is a Senior...

Things have not changed, Hester is NOT playing this year. Look for Hazelhurst, Southard and Honeycutt to pick up the slack....

I am hearing that there is an opening for AD at Clinton High School.....anyone have any idea what's going on and who might be a good replacement?

What we need to do as parents is start taking our concerns to the Clinton High School principal to make sure that she knows how our AD is acting and that we will not tolerate such treatment of our students and our athletic programs. He has seemed to have forgotten his purpose as the AD of Clinton High School and is making his own personal demands and taking advantage of his position....until he resigns or is fired, the athletics at Clinton High will never develop and grow! Enough complaints and the CHS principal will not have any other choice but to get control of her AD!

ORANGE CRUSH....I know that the AD and vice principal are trying to take away some of your fun (painting up, etc....) but PLEASE don't let this stop you all from showing up and supporting the teams! I hope that this makes you all come out in RECORD NUMBERS and show them that it will not stop you all from supporting the DRAGONS! You all are a HUGE part of the team and they need your support now more than ever!

Great post! The Clinton High School AD has lost his mind on this one.....He is very detrimental to the Athletic Program at Clinton High School....Even the Farragut coach was questioning our AD's policy and why our policy is different than all of the other schools and especially one that is in the same county ( Anderson Co. High). Clinton only had 6 Varsity players last night. The rest of the Varsity was in street clothes, sitting on the bench. Unfortunatly, some of these students have absent parents and get no representation. Clinton's Athletic program will continue to decline if something is not done soon about the AD! We will lose a great coach if the AD keeps this sort of action up. Yes, I've heard of the study hall before and after school...all Clinton basketball players are required to attend. Looks like Coach Lockard already has things handled in this aspect. Parents: start sending your letters to the Director of Schools about Clinton High's AD. We need an AD that is FOR the children!

Are you serious? You don't care if your JV team wins or loses?...that's sad for those kids that play...that is your future Varsity team. No wonder you didn't run the scoreboard for them...I bet they really feel important and part of your program there......

If that was the case, then why didn't you just play our Freshman and not our JV? It was our understanding that you didn't have a Freshman team... I think this is just a case of being a sore loser....

Yes, it was a GREAT showing by the JV Squad last night.....These boys are really showing some great things and we look forward to seeing them play Varsity next year! This is a close group of boys and they are showing a great team effort and it has paid off for them on Monday night games. Just one suggestion to HALLS and CENTRAL.....It would be nice if you would run your scoreboard on JV game nights..........Can you not afford to run it or what is the deal?

That's true...I've seen some really bad ones. Good Luck to the Wildcats in the rest of their season, as well. I agree, I'd love to see a good, close game in the near future.
