Here it is week 2 and that means that it is time to start confrence play. We'll start off with.... *Grace Christian (1-1) @ Unaka (2-0) :The Rangers are confident and on fire. >My Pick< Unaka 47 - Grace 13 *Jellico (1-1) @ Hampton (0-1) : The Bulldogs beat themselves last friday night with turnover. I think that they will use that loss foir motivation for the rest of the season like they did last year...I would NOT want to be Jellico Friday. >My Pick< Hampton 62 - Jellico 14 *Cosby (2-0) @ Cloudland (1-1) :Cosby is loaded, Cloudland is down..BUT you play a differant cloudland when you play them at orr feild.*Upset of the week* >My Pick< Cloudland 21 - Cosby 20 .....>this one could go one way or the other< *West Greene (0-1) @ Happy Valley (0-2) :It's West Greene! >My Pick< Happy Valley 35 - West Greene 0 *Betsy (0-2) @ Tn. High (1-0) :I would like to think that the clones will turn thier season around with a win here.....BUT I just don't think so. >My Pick< Elizabethton 7 - Tn. Anyway, Back to the subject of football...Hampton v/s Jellico

All that I'm saying is...I would NOT want to be Jellico! Hampton I'm Sure got a wake up call. *STEP up or GIVE up, thats the only two options for Hampton. *to the coaches of Hampton: Realize that you can PASS the ball in the game of football. THe sad thing is that Hampton has probally that best wide-outs and tight-ends combo in east, tn............BUT they won't throw So what happen when they play a team of Johnson County's caliber agian, and the shut down the long runs and your all-star runner gets sluaterd and pounded every single play. then what are you gonna do? that is the question do you do what you did last year agianst TC ... 1st down run = NO gain, 2nd down run = hit in the back feild, 3rd down run = No gain...... oh no it 4th down well running did not work the first time... but you know what it might work this time so RUN it agian... and the quick kick????? these are just some weird things that come out of a coaching staffs that I think is one of the best in tn.

No offence to you lord vader but that isn't a topic/reply to be put on a coachT thread. thats kinda unimportant and personal. Plus everyone knows that in close game situations emotions and tempers are very high.

Adam Townsend had one of the worst games of his life last friday @ Johnson County and still had 247 yards rushing agianst a quality defence. yea I guess I'm a poodle.... But atleast is was a good game to watch bad for me and the town of Hampton, but a fun game to watch. Listen first games are always sloppy.. But the is NO excuse!!! Mark this down if Hampton Defence dosen't step up and actually tackle, Then Hampton might even lose to jellico... LOL....the only bad thing about that is I'm not kiding around. That was absolutly the worse Defence I've ever seen .. 7 turnovers, NO blocking, and if you can't tackle = A loss simple as 1,2,3 I hope the Coaches make a chage somewhere! AND FOR GOD SAKES PASS THE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT THAT HAMPTONS COACHES LEARN THAT IN THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR?

That my friend is very very true. Roop is a big big boy, and about as agile as a half back. and not only that, if this boy can get mean there is no one and I mean NO ONE that he can't block or could block him when he is on Defence. 6'6" 320lbs. and not to mention the other four lineman are pretty darn good also. I know all of them and they live in the weight room... .. . heck I seen Joe lee eat a 100 lbs dumbell the other day. but yes sir. it all starts with the big hog molly'd up front. heart, pride, hustle and determination are vital for success! Go Dogs
