When a player gets an interception, that most of the time means it was good coverage. either way you look at it Hampton's D held Unaka's offence to 0 points. thats what they call a shut out.

For one, on the Hampton game v/s "the private school" as J.C. calls it. The old coach isn't gonna be as nice to Grace Christian as he was to his good friend Coach Berry Carter's team in West Greene. I think the score might push up to the 60's this game. Remember they gotta get tuned for that "good" Cosby team. Happy Valley plays Cumberland Gap this week. they played G-Pittman last week and did a pretty good job.

WoW, it is already week six, and the confrence and state playoff picture is starting to unfold before our very own eyes. Hampton (4-1) @ Grace Christian (2-4): The Dogs are hot and firing on all cylinders right now and something tells me Adam Townsend will get well over the mear 81 yards he needs to break the 1000 rushing yard mark this season. My Pick> Hampton 56 - Grace Christian 13 Cosby (6-0) @ Unaka (3-2): Cosby is on a roll and I just don't see the Rangers pulling it out. My Pick> Cosby 42 - Unaka 7 Unicoi (1-4) @ Elizabethton (1-4): I know this, Betsy has alot of talent, there is just something blocking them from having a winning season. Close game here. My Pick>Unicoi 27 - Betsy 35 Prince Avenue, SC @ Cloudland (2-3): The Landers are fired up about Fridays win. But I do not know anything about the South Carolina school, other than they have only about 100 kids in the whole school. As much as I hate to say it, I believe that this game will be lop-sided, Cosby will win by about 30 point or so. But who knows, the creekers might be pi$$ed off just enough to make a game out of it. I personally would love to see them get the big W.

This is sorta like what coach Stan Ogg did last year with the 05 Happy Valley squad. They had some of the best backs in east , Tn including Will Lowe, Ryan Garland. the Davis kid could run also. But instead of running, they choose to let the Caldwell kid throw. and what was there record at the end of the season? I think it was like 5-5, 4-6 or something to that matter. But anyway Good luck to the creekers the rest of the season! GO DOGS!!

so your sitting here complaining that you all dont run it. maybe it was becuase unaka couldn't run on a good run defence. Hampton only allowed a total of 2 rushing yards the whole game. 2 yards divided by 6 runs = 1 foot every run. Not that good of running.

I like you to coach. but yes there was a few on here ranting and raveing about how " the game in the hurricane" would have been differant, many of the other posters on here might remember it also. but anyway that was last year and not this year. I've always said that cosby has a great program and before the season even started i picked ya'll to finish 2nd unlike most other people who was picking unaka or cloudland. And stat wise your team looks good, it is just that you'all simply have not played any body. I can't wait to make the trip down there coach shelton. Have a good rest of the season. Big Dawg 71
