TN Lady Dawgz are anticipating a few openings for our 15U and 16U teams. If anyone is interested contact 865-740-9766 or rickscarbrough@tnladydawgz.com We will play a AAU and Adidas schedule. We will not hold tryouts, however will make arrangements to watch the girls play and evaluate them. We are based in the Knoxville area and will get your player maximum exposure. Five girls graduate from last summer's 16U team, two have signed DI letters of intent and the other three are getting offers.

Webb is young this year, but plays very hard. They hung in there with a very talented Cleveland team and Maryville won at the buzzer. Webb starts a freshman post and play alot of sophmores. Look for them to gel at tourney time!

Congratulations to Memphis Elite for repeating as National Champs and the TN Wings for a Great 8 finish. We (TN Lady Dawgz) ran in to buzz saws in pool play with Orlando Comets and Maryland Flames (3rd and 9th respectively) and were sent to the classic bracket. We finished 2nd to the Kansas City Shock. The Shock made a free throw with 5 seconds to beat us by one. Sometimes talent can't overcome poor coaching! haha Wish we could have had more teams there, we (Tennessee) play good basketball here. Our Tennessee teams receive alot of positive comments about our style of play. We had a good trip. Played in the Southern Premier Showcase in Atlanta July 6-8 and broke the rust loose. Then went 4-1 at the Junior Showcase Silver Division July 10-12, before D1 Nationals. Wound up playing 17 games in that span of events.

We (Lady Dawgz) were able to play Memphis to a 4 point game in pool play. With Avant out we were able match ok on the outside (we hit 12 three's), but Memphis did a great job of exploiting mismatches. They force you to switch so much and there bigs are so athletic.....anyway there is a reason they keep winning!
