What has been the storyline for the game, so far, Croz?
Both defenses need to step up.
LCA has been getting chunk plays from Jackson. He's a stud. However, Gville has made them punt twice and turned it over on downs once. LCA has also been penalized for about 60 yards.
Gville has had success running the ball, more inside the tackles than outside. We've also hit a few pass plays, but we haven't had much time to throw, as we're having a hard time blocking Lawson, #9. We've punted once.
-
Gville up 21-14 at half and will receive the 2nd half kickoff.
-
After 1 quarter, Gville leads 14-7.

This is a new opponent for us, and honestly, I know nothing about them. So, maybe some East Tennessee folks can clue me in.
They seemed to be much improved from last year, and they look like they have some really good athletes at the skill positions.

Gordonsville travels to Eagleville for the first time since 2011. I'm anxious to see how it shakes out.
Gordonsville, thus far, has underachieved according to expectations, however, I believe I saw some glimpses of what we should be against Oliver Springs, especially in the 2nd half, before we started subbing a lot.
I believe Gville is beginning to right the ship after a dismal start to the season. This game is yet another step on that path. I'm satisfied that we'll look a lot different by week 10.

I don't know much about OS outside of their record, but I look for Gville to make some adjustments and get their first win of the season.
I'll say this, Gville has severely underperformed compared to their potential. Hopefully this game will set them back on the right path.

Gville is just hustling everybody.
We're making it to where everyone overlooks us, and we're gonna make a run.

Croz. is that 8 players, or ones that play both ways?
Not 8 players. A couple go both ways.

How many injuries gville have? All this talk about injuries y'all acting like Watertown doesn't have injuries also
Off the top of my head, 4 starters on defense, and 4 on offense.

I can confirm that Gordansville dont say Smith County anymore, they now say DADDY instead.
Carthage has won 2 out of the last 5. But, I guess you need to talk while you can.

It will be tough Friday for us, but I feel good about our chances.
A loss like Saturday forces adjustments and the need for kids to step up. I feel confident they will.

After one game, this season is already shaping up to be like 3 years ago when we were extremely hampered with injuries.
However, we have a lot of players of a 1A team, so hopefully others will step up.

Can I ask why you think your 2 scores better? I've seen nothing that says you are.
We lost only 3 starters on each side of the ball. In theory we should be better than last year, and you guys lost a whole lot more.
The problem is we haven't been healthy all preseason, and we lost more guys last night.
It looks like we may be down at least 3 more starters, 2 of them on both sides of the ball.
The 2 scores is if we're healthy. We're not healthy.

Would love to how many flags where thrown against each team!!! Third quarter felt like a lifetime!!
It was bad, and many of them after the play.
-
I'll say 17-13.
We got pretty banged up last night. If we're completely healthy, I believe we win by a couple of scores. But it seems that we're not.

Sounds like Albritton and Dudney will play for Gordonsville. Smith County also announced the Freshman the starter from what it sounds.
That's good for us as long as they're close to 100%, as far as SC's starter at QB, that's rather interesting.
-
I feel like Gville's conditioning and depth will give them an edge.
However we're not at 100%.
It will be interesting to see how everything shakes out. Gville 21-14.

Is number 7 one of those Croz?
Yes, I haven't really heard when he might be available.
-
Whether or not Albritton plays will be big, but Foster is capable.
There's one or two more that are hurt as well.
The biggest thing to me is that Gville will play a lot of guys. That could be an advantage.
-
I listened to the region 4-1A part (I'll listen to the rest later), and the only thing I can critique is that Clay will be really good, and it will be a dogfight when we play them. They return almost everyone.

I forgot about Hix for some reason.

Don’t forget about McKenzie. I am going to go out on a limb. It will be Lake County, McKenzie, Peabody, Fayetteville, Dresden or Cornersville.
That's quite a big limb...
