Who was ya'lls center fielder last year. We played yall in a tourney and he went 4-4 or something he could really play.

Believe it or not Sonny Gray from Smyrna hit ten last year. You would look at him and not think he has power but he can hit the long ball, also Dodd from Oakland is returning after a great year

This year I don't think there is a clear #1 as of right now. We all know Smyrna has Gray and Mt. Juliet has Cothem, but we will wait to see who steps up. What is everyone's thoughts??

Won't happen again! What they did last year was amazing, but they lost to many great players and winning 42 is a tough task to do back to back.

I don't think a million is enough. I'm sure he will get offered more.. and it would suprise me if he didn't take the money. Remember with that money if something happeneds, you can always go back to college

now where did u here this news???? b/c Rod turned 19 this year and was still able to play. so it makes it kind of hard for me to believe that they won't be able to play 4 years

Smyrna also had a freshman LB named Deon Meadows that is a beast!!! Led the team in tackles this year and he will definately play at the next level

I know man, this man actually gave us congrats and he is one of the few and your dogging him. You need to lay off of him Loyal because it wasn't to long ago when you picked your so "called" team to lose to WC. Can't have the cake and eat it to.

And to the fans from Riverdale that have class and get on here and congradulate us for winning we thank you. It's just people like TDNTN that really know how to make people mad.

One thing I have learned about football these past two years (no not my first two years) is that TRUE CHAMPIONS find a way to win when it counts. Yeah Riverdale beat us last year 49-0 but you know what we went back to the drawing board and worked our butt off and look what happened. Ya'll went home and cried and then came to watch us win the 1st of two gold balls, And this year I have never seen so many nervous people in my life as the night we played this year when we made the comeback. I looked over at Verge and just smiled because for the whole game he had been a /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> when I tried to help him up or ya know I showed good sportsmanship he had nothing to say but some words i'm not allowed to say on here. (CoachT might kick me off) And you know its funny how people start acting when they start losing, they just all the sudden don't have much to say, but I give yall all the credit yall came back and beat us but you know what that game didn't do anything but help us, because when it counted ya'll got taken out behind the woodshed /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> what happened that night what are your excuses for that??? was it the refs then??? so then after yall left the home field again for the second year in a row crying yall then came back to watch Smyrna again win the 2nd of two gold balls. Well I wouldn't consider us have playing three bad game.. Let's see. 1. Riverdale-lost by 4 to the #1 (at that time) team in the state. 2.BA- D2 powerhouse that could beat any 5a team 3. Lebanon- great QB and a pretty good team. Now if you consider two of those teams were in the top 3 in the state and all 3 were in the top 10 at one point in time. Now after all that, after all the hatred and DOUBT from EVERYONE!! Smyrna played lights out football when it counted. All those regular season game really don't matter (of course for seeding) but when it comes down to it its all what you do in the playoffs. Ask some of the players from Gallatin last year. What did they have to show after a 10-0 "REGULAR SEASON"??? A first round playoff LOSS. I give Indy there props for being there but we ALL know that they would have been dominated in the East bracket.

See that's the problem. I think the Indy team was satisfied by just being there. Smyrna wanted something more than to just appear in it again, and you could tell from the get go. Not taking anything away from Indy they had a heck of a year, but Smyrna's D was just to FAST! Well considering you can only have 11 players on the field at a time, how did they play every snap together???

You know what #1 sounds like to me. MR. Tom Brady and he has a Randy Moss in Wilks

Look every kid that was up there had an amazing season, and YES sterling is a great player. But when he played a very good team did you see his stats then. And i'm not taking anything away from him. but think Rod is in the region 4-5a the toughest in the state which was proved today after the awards. The kid scores a TD I think every 3 or 4 times he touches the ball. And he also has a Punt Return for a TD and a Kick off reutrn for a TD and he is on his way back to another State Championship (which he was the mvp of last year)so... If your going to be biased just because you are from East Tennessee make sure you get all the facts straight... GREAT YEAR ANDRE STERLING!!! AND CONGRATS ROD WILKS!!! Way to bring it to the 4-5a

HE is clearly out. And I was on the field on the onside kick and Torres came down with it and the ground clearly caused the fumble with out a doubt.

You know here is my take on this. The whole week before the game yall come on here and talk trash and talk about how Smyrna can't do it WC is on a roll or you cant beat a great team twice. Now after Smyrna proves everyone wrong ya'll just want to get on here and whine. DUBC you played a heck of a game, your a great player and trust me the whole team thinks the same. I just want to see yall get on here congratulate Smyrna. It's not the players fault that they got on the PA and played Happy Trails (which they play every home game). And no one from WC gets on here and talks about how they bad mouthed Smyrna during the game trust me I was on the field and heard and even got remarks said to me. It's just crazy how when you lose you find so many things to cry about CONGRATULATIONS WILSON CENTRAL yall had a heck of a year. Showed everyone up.
