This is a different football team than the one who played siegel, BA, and brentwood. Smyrna had no passing game then, Steve Wilson has now come around and is getting comfortable in the pocket and out of the pocket. He is a strong candidate for most improved on this football team.

Yes Wilson and Hicks didnt play last year but they are about the only ones. Almost the whole defense is returning. I'll put it this way would you rather have the experience or none at all? I know it doesn't win the game but it sure helps.

t3a cups is exactly right, what do you not understand about his quote? All of the players that were on the team last year already know the best way to prepare mentally and physically. Neither of us said that experience wins the game it just helps.

Actually yes the last two state championships do, do something for this team. While almost all of Smyrna's starters have played in a game with this much on the line, no of Oakland's players have even played in a playoff game until this year. So this is unchartered ground for them. Yes both teams are excellent football teams but Smyrna has something Oakland doesn't have and thats experience. You can't say experience doesn't count for anything.

This game is goin to come down to experience and momentum. Smyrna obviously have the experience since they have 2 state championships and Oakland didn't even make the playoffs. And momentum, Smyrns is playing like the last 2 state champs so watch out. Also Smyrna is out for revenge. Should be a great game but i gotta take Smyrna by more than 10 points.

I think this will be a very hard fought defensive football game. Both teams like to run the ball a lot. And both teams have great defensives. But if Smyrna can stop Precious they can win this football game. Also Smyrna hasn't given up a td in 11 quarter. I think Yoder could have a big impact on this game. Ok let me get some things straight. Dakota Woods is 18 NOT 20. He did not get suspended from school? Why would he? This has nothing to do with school. I'm not 100 percent positive but im pretty sure he is playing friday.

This isn't like Yoder, everyone knows he is a MUCH better kicker than this. He does have the longest FG in the state this year--49 yards.

Smyrna will win pretty easy. Lavergne losing 7 players last week to a drug bust didnt help them. Smyrna wins 23-3.

I think this is a very good outlook of the game. This will definately be a defensive dominated game. GO BULLDOGS!
