  1. Recap from RCT...http://www.tennessean.com/viewart/20121027/ROBERTSON02/310270040/Nashville-Christian-stuns-Red-Devils-fourth-quarter-comeback
  2. Are you wanting teams to change quads or are you just tired of these teams being good?
  3. I didn't make the game tonight, but it sounds like JB couldn't hold on to the lead tonight and lose to NC 28-27. Definitely a disappointing loss.
  4. Same here, man. Good luck to y'all and get in! The all time series between JB and NC...JB 12 wins - NC 7 wins. JB has a 7 game win streak going. NC had a 5 game streak in the late 90's.
  5. The Tennesseans week 10 picks...http://www.tennessean.com/article/20121025/SPORTS07/310250035/Prep-picks-District-titles-stake-Friday?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|FRONTPAGE|s Nashville Chr. over Jo Byrns Clarksville Acad. over McEwen Houston Co. over East Robertson
  6. This is (potentially) what you're playing for guys. ( I pulled this from... http://www.coacht.com/boards/index.php/topic/227109-gerry-bertiers-1a-final-playoff-predictions/page__st__10 ) Given this scenerio and barring any upsets, it looks like CA and CW are gonna wind up 1-2 in Quad 3. JB and NC could swap places depending on Friday night. You tell me what path you'd rather set yourself up to take...long trip to an improved CW, or short trip to take another shot at CA. 1 Collinwood -------------------- 4 Jo Byrns ______________ 5 McEwen 3 Nashville Christian_______ 6 Wayne Co. 2 Clarksville Academy --------
  7. I'm glad you still have a link to this. I really like the "SportsCenter" highlight look and feel to it. I voted and +1 on the NCS roadtrip.
  8. Week 10, my picks in bold... JB @ NC HC @ ER McEwen @ CA WHH has the bye If CA wins, they are the champs. The JB - NC winner needs a CA loss to get the title. HC needs a win to help them out with playoff seeding. Current standings Clarksville Academy 7-2 (4-1) Nashville Christian School 7-2 (4-1) Jo Byrns 5-4 (4-1) Houston County 6-3 (2-3) McEwen 3-6 (2-3) White House Heritage 5-5 (2-4) East Robertson 2-7 (0-5)
  9. It's all good! I think the term to use is cautiously optimistic. There's potential for this team to be way above average, but you are what your record says you are. Kind of like UT. We're waiting for them to win a game that they aren't "supposed to," but at least our coach is solid!
  10. Come on man, if you start a thread get your spelling right!!!
  11. From the AA boards...http://www.coacht.com/boards/index.php/topic/226915-classifications-are-out/ Sounds like D10 is gonna have to step their game up.
  12. He's just "taking a hack" at it!!!
  13. The Tennessean picks... Jo Byrns over McEwen White House-Heritage over East Robertson Nashville Chr. over Houston Co.
  14. Looks like WHH is leaving D10 after this season after growing to 3A. New TSSAA classification here...http://www.tssaa.org/Classifications/classification.cfm
  15. Good game CA. Here's the L-C article...http://www.theleafchronicle.com/article/20121012/HSSPORTS/310120040/Cougars-hold-off-Devils CA, thanks for the concrete walking area! Next time JB is at CA, I'll have to check out the visitors side "concession barn."
  16. Week 8, my pics in bold... McEwen @ JB ER @ WHH NC @ HC CA has the bye Current standings 1A > 2A Clarksville Academy 7-2 (4-1) Jo Byrns 4-4 (3-1) Nashville Christian School 6-2 (3-1) McEwen 3-5 (2-2) Houston County 6-2 (2-2) White House Heritage 4-5 (1-4) East Robertson 2-6 (0-4)
  17. The freightrain that Cascade does is something I have come around to liking (it's no different than an air horn to me...and I love air horns), but bands playing songs while there is football going on is something I can't stand. How would a band director like for a football game to breakout during Christmas recital?!?!?
  18. The Tennessean picks....http://www.tennessean.com/article/20121011/SPORTS07/310110042/Prep-picks-Overton-hopes-hand-Antioch-first-district-loss?odyssey=mod|newswell|text|FRONTPAGE|s Jo Byrns (4-3, 3-0) at Clarksville Acad. (6-2, 3-1): This will be a pivotal clash in District 10-A. Jo Byrns stayed unbeaten in the league with its win over Houston County as RB Jacob Wakefield rushed for 133 yards and two TDs. Last week, Clarksville Academy allowed 22 fourth-quarter points in a 28-20 loss to Houston County. Jo Byrns 24, Clarksville Acad. 17. Nashville Chr. over White House-Heritage No pick given for HC at McEwen, must be a pick 'em!
  19. VS JB - 18 wins CA - 11 wins No scores for 75, 77, 81, 82, 86 were listed. JB had an 8 game winning streak in the series broken last year that dated back to 2001. CA had a 5 game streak before that from 96-2000. Best game I can remember was 20-14 JB win on a cold night in '94 on the concrete field at APSU.
  20. Welome aboard! Yep, seems like every week will be a must win week.
  21. Bingo! Needless to say, Friday is huge.
  22. Sorry, they would have it with JB. BUT, figure this one out... IF CA beats JB, and JB has defeated HC, and HC has defeated CA, and all teams win out...what happens?
  23. JB makes the trip to Clarksvegas to take the next step for the D10 title, but CA is still in it. If the Cougars win (and both teams win out) they have the head to head tie breaker.
