the young twins are very good atheletes , what jed hussein accomplished vs. joe was very impressive. he was on fire, with every scramble going his way-i believe jed although only two years into this great sport is peaking at a good time- truly one of the best performances i have seen this year - JT - 20 seconds may be pushing my limit but it's still fun to bark about , i'll take wv (he's in shape) that way i'm still just a cheerleader.

i wish, but my brother had the fish flown via washington d. c. to japan last night they bring ~$15.00 lb.

135 was a tough weight , the science hill kid wrestled very well- i think corey would be the first to tell you with ryan just coming off his knee injury his tank was not full. i understand totally , if my sons were that age you would see me hauling them to the georgia circuit as we did for years. However , when you have a competitive school looking over your shoulder, turning you in ,or even the threat of such. Most forego that competition, which would help them as well as your kids benifiting from more comp. I know there is a school of thought that thinks we push them(6th,7th, 8th graders) too hard , but it is my opinion that the busier you can keep that age group the better. I guess team tennessee will have to do for now - Good Luck - jt

I know most Chattanooga kids were not able to compete in this tournament, due to a tssaa rule. Possibly Ronnie Carter ,who is a friend of wrestling, could look into having a couple of exceptions. It is not often that our kids can get quality competition here in the south, as this event was close by, yet our tssaa youth were unable to compete. What is best for helping Tennessee wrestling??? Bundy lost in 1/4 's , don't know how his consos have gone , will try to find out. Manson just beat the #1 seed 13-6 ,3X S.C. state champ with 55-0 record this year and will wrestle in the finals friday night @ 8:00 - Another good showing for Tennessee wrestling - way to go Corey!!!!

Not really relevant but jordan was up 2-0 after first . second period scoreless and in the third with jordan leading 2-0 and approx 1 minute plus riding time jordan got high and simpson with his size xxxl hands milked him down stacked him up and was awarded the fall . I can assure you anyone who has followed Tennessee wrestling for long has been impressed with all the simpson's and their improvement from season to season. good luck to phillip ,jordan,kevin, all representing TN. in St. Louis.
