i did not want to say that because i have lots of respect for steve and his program and those comments didn't originate @ soddy but your right he weighed in - if they wanted to wrestle him they could have and there will be other chances if they want - he's not going to go away for two more years

schack has always reserved his red pants for special occasions a really big match or predominantly the state finals- pay close attention walkenvol and you might get to see them- hats off to coach henry he does a good job getting his wrestlers ready to start the season - yes baylor is young and inexperienced but even with coaches in red pants don't be surprised when they are competitive with all come february.

yea manson and dunning have wrestled but that was two years ago- i'm not here to say anything negative about either dunning -they are good kids - i was impressed w/ the manson/coleman line score as coleman is strong and has been around a while -thats all -by the way- its COREY [Edited by deaddux on 12-3-02 3:33P]

if youve ever been in the gym at lehigh it is a great wrestling arena because the seats go straight up -jim kraft hit john w/ a text book supplay pinned him on the spot - herb hannah came running down the bleachers - loooked like he was going to break his own neck getting down to matside- next thing you know he is sitting on the bench w/ kraft recruits him on the spot he goes to alabama and starts at linebacker for three years i think he may have been all- american at alabama -

john hannah credits everything he became to coach worsham and quoted luke in the sports illustrated article which deemed him on the cover ` greatest offensive lineman ever' in the nfl- i can say that regardless of where your affiliations stand if you ever saw him wrestle you would have been impressed-

randy weinberg , lost one match in his final two years by one point @lehigh on a controversial call - he then went to princeton on a wrestling scholarship -graduated from princeton in 4 years then went on to receive the rhodes scolarship and studied in england for several years- and yes he was a phenominal light weight with a incredible work ethic - and the national preps was and i assume still is a great tournament -to win there you usually had 64 man brakets and had to be ready to wrestle 5/6 matches in 2 days-another great light weight was randy faires - red bank who i think went out to oklahoma for a year before coming back to chattanooga to wrestle for utc- [Edited by deaddux on 4/17/02 11:45A]
