Wooooooo K2R, I saw the Bearden and AC match too. Great battle at the net baby and AC has athletes all over the floor. Bearden has a very solid middle that plays all rotations and she can put the wood to it from anywhere on the floor.
But the important thing is I was the prettiest thing in the gym!!!
Nature Boy Out

The Nature Boy is about to leave for a cruise. Just imagine The Nature Boy, B-Man, and Patsfan sharing the ship hot tub. NOT – There would be too many pretty women in the tub with The Nature Boy. Congratulations to Greenbrier! Like The Nature Boy says, “If you beat the man, you are the man”. Right now GB is “The Man” in my book. I can’t wait until I get back and see who is on top. Here is my last little ditty for the season:
The Nature Boy and The Fro say
Good Luck to You All
We’ll Regroup for Battle
And See You Next Fall
Bolt Like a Rabbit
Or Run Like a Deer
Next Year You Can Bet
The Fro You Will Fear
Wooooooooo!
-
Wooooooo, you made The Nature Boy Laugh baby!
No facial needed, I am too pretty already baby.
Just spread the word to all the ladies around Nashville that The Nature Boy’s heart belongs to the Fro.
Rolling into Nashville, TWA
Tell all the women The Nature Boy is on his way
I’m a rocker and a roller
A little funky too
My heart belongs to The Fro
And there is no room for you
The Ridge in four over the ladies from Nashvegas.

East Ridge may go into culture shock when they come to a one stop light town where the town shuts down by 8pm, and our nightlife is also known as Sonic.
I heard my kid say that a lot of kids that normally don't come to the Volleyball game will be there tonight. Let's pack GHS!
Go Lady Cats!
Step into the squared circle with Froinators. Like the Nature Boy always says, “To be THE MAN you have to beat THE MAN”! Here is a little ditty for the good folks over in Greenbrier:
Greenbrier Greenbrier
You’re happy to be hear
When The Fro walks in
I will see you fear
Your girls have played well
All season long
At the end of the night
The Nature Boy will sing this song
Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na
Hey Hey Hey
Good Bye
Please remember no autographs at the match tonight. The Fro gets a little jealous when I get too much attention. She has asked me to wear a hat tonight so that her hair will be the center of attention instead of mine. We are so pretty it hurts baby!
Wooooo!

Thank you for thinking about me P-Fan. The Fro and I have been busy implementing our new Naturerobics program on The Ridge. We thought that Naturerobics combined with Froisthenics would be the perfect combination to get the girls ready for a run in the Borro.
It sounds like you folks out East are having a battle royal. Congratulations to AC and KC for battling through injuries to advance to regional play. I hope to see you guys at State. We have all done a lot of talking and prognosticating this season. Now the fun starts.

H-Voltage,
Who have you seen this year and how would you rank the top 5 or 6?

The ER and AC match-up for the finals of the Maverick Roundup was a good one. The Nature Boy says that AC is for real. Hurricane FRO lost little power when she came ashore, but she is back out at sea and getting stronger. It is too close to call for the State Championship. ER, AC, ND, GC, and KC are each legitimate contenders. I will always give a slight edge to teams that have a tradition of tournament success.
Thanks to AC, the tournament could not have been run any better. AC has a first class program.
Coach FRO looked good sporting her new Nature Boy Fan Club pendent. Thanks to all of my fans in Anderson County for not asking me for autographs so that I could enjoy the VB this weekend.
-
Mercy sakes alive
Here comes a category 5
Hurricane Fro is coming soon
To blow the teams in Clinton all the way to the moon
Listen to what The Nature boy has to say
Look out for Fro and stay out of her way
She is so pretty just like me
She floats like a butterfly but stings like a bee
The Fro loves the Nature Boy on that you can bet
Because all men fear him and he is the women’s pet
Wooooooooo!
Remember, free steak dinner with the Nature Boy for the first person to post a picture of the Nature Boy and Fro together this weekend.

Wooooooo! Good to hear from Mempho baby. The Nature Boy knows a few pretty mommas in The River City, but none as pretty as The Fro from The Ridge.
Rolli’n into Mempho
TWA
Tell all the women Nature Boy is on his way
I’m rocker an a roller
A little funky too
I was raised by gypsies
You know Nature Boy is cool
All you good folks in ET watch out for the hurricane brewing in MT. In is now a Category III and it is expected to be a Category V around state tournament time.

I simply expressed my opinion. What “facts” do you dispute? Instead of generalizing, please be specific.
My perception of you is based on what I read in your posts. I know that words are funny things, but yours seem to be generally negative. I am not the personality police and I really don’t care if you are cynical or not. I responded (regretfully) to your comments to me.
The Nature Boy has got to go. I have a tanning bed appointment. It is so hard to be the women’s pet and the men’s threat all of the time.
Wooooooooo!

I agree with your assessment of the haves and have nots. As I have said before, volleyball is unfortunately a white collar sport. Club ball is not cheap by any means. However, it seems that club ball is the only way to really develop unless you play for one of the elite teams in the state. Even then, club ball is becoming more and more critical to develop the skills needed to play competitively in high school and college.
I want so desperately to respond D-Juice, but it is not worth it. I don’t want to get tangled in the cynical web that he weaves. It reminds me of someone that wants to be successful say bad that they enjoy it when others fail.
Here is my new question for this thread:
Is D-Juice the father of P-Fan?
The national Weather Service has posted a hurricane warning for Anderson County, Tennessee. Hurricane Fro is now a Category III hurricane and the eye of the storm is expected to make landfall about the time the Anderson County volleyball tournament starts this weekend.
Keep an eye out for The Nature Boy. Please enjoy the view, but no autographs. I will be preoccupied with The Fromania.
Free steak dinner to the first one that can post a picture of The Fabulous Ones (The Froinator and Nature Boy) standing next to each other this weekend.

Good questions P-Fan. Here are some of my thoughts:
There is only one Nature Boy and The Nature Boy is only one.
What is your deal with AC? Is it a coach, player, fan, parent, etc.? It seems obvious to me that you are driven by contempt. I don’t know if you really love KC or really hate AC.
KC is a fine institution, but they should be playing other private schools. I know of no recruiting activities or TSSAA violations. They do have a distinct advantage of drawing athletes from the entire Knoxville area. Public schools can’t (legally) do that, but KC can. Hire a great coach (e.g. Mike Jones) and parents will send their kids to get a great education plus be part of a great athletic program. I also understand that the tuition is subsidized for students that are of the Catholic faith. If true, that is a borderline scholarship.
-
The Nature Boy is back from taking care of business with Vince M. I have a little insight from the FRO. There is calm before the storm on The Ridge. Tropical depression FRO has just been upgraded to a tropical storm. The national Hurricane Center projects that FRO will be a category 5 hurricane at state tournament time.
The Nature Boy is declaring a state of emergency for KC, ND, and AC. Evacuate now while you can!
Woooooooo!

The Nature Boy is back baby. Congratulations to the Fabulous Fro for the well deserved Coach of the Year honor. The FRO is the Total Package. Only the Nature Boy knows how it feels to be the best and still be so pretty.
The Fro and the Nature Boy
Two birds of a feather
We are the Fabulous Ones
When we are together
The Fro is pretty
And so am I
We are delicious candy
For your eye
Don’t let the beauty fool you
Because we don’t play
When we come to your gym
Get out of the way
Woooooooo!

just for funsies mind you, but I'd love to get a shot at the pointspreads Bratman and/or Nature Boy would set. I'd have moonpies forever, maybe enuf to feed the whole world.
Just for funsies (whatever that means) I would love to see you step out and make some predictions. Give us your assessment of the top four teams in A-AA (you can even add point spreads if you like). I'll give you a box of moonpies and a case of RC Cola if you will step out of the shadows. How about your odds for this matchup:
The Nature Boy and Bratman vs. Patsfan123 and Jack Sparrow
We could call it the first annual Coach T Smackdown.
Wooooo!

Sullivan North will win Region 1 and SCentral will finish second.
I watched AC rip Science Hill and Tenn High, but they play young at times. If they have to travel up here this could be our year!
AC does seem to play young at times. What is the class makeup for the team?
-
B-Man, I don’t think the ER vs. AC match was that lopsided. Those young girls are great athletes with fire in their eyes. They will only get better as the season progresses. Also, Grace is for real. Based on what I have seen, Nature Boy’s top four A-AA are:
The Ridge
Notre Dame
Grace
AC
NOTE: KC may take one of these teams place on my list as the season progresses.
Can I hear a Wooooooo for the Fabulous Ones (The Nature Boy and The Fearsome Fro)!
-
Wooooooooo! I would put my DOUGH on the FRO any time. The girls from The Ridge looked really good last night. AC and Grace also looked like they will be a formidable opponent this year. The coaches and players from all three teams impress me very much and I believe each team will make some noise in the post season.
The Nature Boy had a chance to talk with one of the coaches from AC. I can’t believe how young they are. He said that I may have distracted some of his girls because I am so pretty. I told him that happens a lot around The Ridge. The Fro knows that I am her secret weapon.
-
The maiden name of Coach Neely’s Grandmother is Flair. Everybody in the family of FLAIR has beautiful HAIR. If you don’t think, SO then Look at the FRO. At tonight’s game look for the two people with the most beautiful hair. One will be Coach “Shut You Down” Neely and the other will be The Nature Boy.
Woooooo!
-
P-Fan, why are you always so defensive? If you read my post, you would see that I am not talking about KC specifically. Take a big picture view of the topic, and address my points. The world does not revolve around your view of KC. Climb on top of the brick wall and see something other than green.
I have to GO and see the FRO in case you don’t KNOW.
Wooooooooo!

Patsfan123 has asked why I think it is and advantage that KC is a wealthy private school in regard to developing their volleyball program. In reality I am speaking of all private schools that compete in the public school arena.
I am sorry to say that volleyball seems to be a “white collar” sport in many regards. The vast majority of parents in the public school systems can’t afford or must make great sacrifices to develop their daughters through the club system. Many of these “white collar” parents also have the means to send their children to private schools. If a private school is developing a strong volleyball program (e.g. KC) what is to prevent parents from school shopping. This is an unfair advantage.
I am not criticizing these schools by any means. I think they serve a wonderful purpose, but they should compete against other private schools. It is also my understanding that some tuition costs are offset by donations from churches or other organizations associated with the school. I have no problem with this, but surely it provides an unfair advantage allowing more potential student athletes to attend the school.
Our student athletes and parents work very hard to raise money through the booster club. Such is the nature of a minor girls sport in the public school system. I also think there is something very special about a team made up of hometown girls. They take what they’ve and make the best of it. It is no doubt that THE RIDGE makes the best of it.
If you don’t know the FRO it is time to GO and see the SHOW.
THE RIDGE vs. AC tonight at the Coach “Open Up a Can” Neely Gymnasium.
The Nature Boy says three and out with a long drive home to East Tennessee for the Lady Mavs.
Wooooooooooo!

You fell in love with Coach Neely?????
I mean she is a really wonderful lady, but........you seem a little...um...er...young. I hate to break your heart, but she might prefer a little more maturity. Or...maybe not!
I don’t want to distract Coach Neely so I attend games incognito. It’s hard to hide a pretty face, but the Nature Boy will do it for the team baby. Sometimes I think she can see right past my pocket protector and horned-rim glasses. They just don’t go with my 16 inch guns.
The Fro is my hero, Woooooooooo!

I believe that Bratman and Patsfan123 are the some person. Using the intellect from my days as a nuclear scientist, I have carefully studied the posts from both. There are very subtle similarities in sentence structure and intellect that cannot be denied.
Stay with me now……
Based on this deduction, it is clear that our friend (Bratfan123) is schizophrenic. Which means that Patsfan123 is really wondering what he does when he is Bratman. Here is the answer:
Patsfan123 is Bruce Banner and Bratman is the Incredible Hulk!
Wooooooooo!

OK, I was a Nuclear Scientist at one time.......
Then I met The Fro and fell in love. I gave it all up because they don't need any Nuclear Scientsist on The Ridge.

Best Coaches Money Can't Buy

Wooooo Baby!
Listen closely to the Nature Boy….Anderson County has the best coaches that money can’t buy! How often do you see three coaches that coach for the high school they attended? The new look Mavericks are fueled by three dynamic coaches that bleed blue and gray.
I have seen AC play a few times this year and the players seem to be responding great to the new coaching combination. Coach Smith has brought a new energy, it is great to have Coach Sewell back with her knowledge and enthusiasm and Coach Cantrell is always ready for battle.
The Nature Boy is on fire with excitement baby!
Jayme is so pretty
Randi is so cute
Dail is very handsome
But not like you know who
Nature Boy is Out!
