  1. Well the family moved into the Gallatin zone. They were living in the Station Camp zone before even though he attended Gallatin his freshman year. Everything is legit and has been checked out thoroughly. There is no problem. Why is this being brought up now?

Not trying to be inflammatory, I just heard about this from a friend. He said the kid actually did not move and just used his aunts residence to act like moved when she is Not actually his guardian. Knew you guys would have some insight on this, only reason I asked.
  2. When is the jamboree? The last two years it's been the week before opening night, which would be August 16th this year. Is Milan not participating?

From what I've heard you are correct on the date of the jamboree and yes milan is participating. However the lineup has changed from what I was told. HC will play lexington this year. Milan will play westview, South gibson will play obion, and Dresden will play trenton. Not a 100%, but what i was told. PREZ, can you or anyone else confirm this??? GO BIG RED

  3.

Our kids have a W marked already on the schedule. Hurd is getting better.

I'm glad to hear this. Hurd is great, but you guys have gone from the hunter to the hunted. I can promise you will get the very best shot that we have and on that night the W will be in doubt. So go ahead and overlook us starting now, you will pay for it. Good luck to you guys

  4. so i can't make a prediction without it meaning i have no respect? i have a good deal of respect for henry co, but beech is a team that's getting NO respect. i think beech wins by double digits because 1. they are up this year while hc is young, 2. it's an early season match up which will easily favor the team with more experience, 3. henry county obliterated them at beech last year so they will be looking to return the favor, and 4. they have jalen hurd. i've seen beech twice this preseason and i think hurd could be the best back out of sumner county in years.

if these two teams meet in the playoffs, it could be a different story, but this early in the season, i like beech's chances regardless of where the game is played.

Your entitled to your opinion, its just hard to believe you would predict a double digit victory when its at HC. Personally I think it will be a one score game for whoever wins it. To me this game features a young but very talented team who showed championship type heart and experience in a come from behind victory against a very talented, Beech also is a very talented team and hard nosed team with one of the best individual players in the whole state in my opinion that beat up on a team who wasn't very good. Last week we grew up and learned a lot, but we must improve from that performance. Beech did what good teams do and beat portland badly and looked crisp doing it. I think HC playing a tough team on the road helps them more coming to this week, but the biggest thing for the big red is that this is the first home game of the year and I can promise you that Patriot Nation will be out in full force for this game. That will be a big boost for HC, but beech will not back down and has the disappointment of last years game to help them get focused. This will be the premier game in all of Tennessee on FRIDAY NIGHT(Alcoa v.s Maryville is sunday). I'm extremely pumped up for this game. GO BIG RED!!!

  5. Its importance is underscored by the fact several Southeastern Conference coaches are expected to attend the game as well as Nashville sportscaster Rudy Kalis from WSMV, channel 4.

QB Club Prez you make me wish I was suiting up for a game tonight! Reading through all of the posts about tonight's game has got me pumped. No one is giving the Cougars a prayer but exactly what would happen to the Henry "faithful" if they were to somehow lose tonight. A lot of confidence (cockiness) by supporters saying they don't see a real opponent until the third or fourth round. Seems like it would be devastating to a team with all this hype ! Clock running in the 2nd quarter ? 45-0 at halftime ? What if......

Its gonna be an awesome atmosphere for both teams, its just what this rivalry and district championship game deserve.

  6. Great to see former state championship coach of Oak Ridge and former Henry County coach "smokin" Joe Gaddis at the Oak Ridge game tonight vs Clinton. He was there along with the great 1991 Oak Ridge team that got remembered before tonights game.

Thats good to hear. we still think a lot about ol' coach gaddis. he got us on the right track and is a good man.

  7. Since we are giving each other test about county football I got one for you. Who played in the 1949 Exchange bowl and who was the coach of that team and what was the score and where was it played And who was the twin brothers that played on the team.

Sir, I've gone back and read some of your posts and I can only hope that your a poser who just wants to talk trash about HC. Because if your an actual Patriot who has turned against your alma mater then its really sad you can't enjoy the new heights this program has finally and deservedly gone. As a former patriot who gave his blood, sweat, and tears for HC and tried to represent that patriot logo on the side of my helmet as best I could every friday night I'm proud to say I'm a patriot, regardless of where I go in life I'll never forget my days as a patriot. I hope this truly is the year for HC and every other year after that. GO BIG RED!!

  8. Its been a while since I have posted but being a former patriot the only thing it took for me to come back were the two words, Dickson County. I see HC rolling big in this one, but from what I've heard the atmosphere at this game may just me the best its ever been for a regular season game. I'm so excited to see HC go out and put it on the cougars and keep that barrel yet another year. GO BIG RED!!!
