  1. Weather looks like its going to be great for football. Rain in the morning and slight chance at KO. 50 degrees is going to be great!
  2. Guys focus on the game and realize that not everything you read on here is true. Assuming that the majority of the posters are adults so act like one.
  3. I listed out the 5 types of posters several pages back and H2O proudly added his own commentary of a 6th type. He is in no means referring to the player.
  4. Bud this argument means nothing. Watertown had no control on where they were placed when the realignment happened. Schools can't play down. The numbers at that time had them as a 2A school, so they are a 2A school. Obviously expansion has happened since then and that will be taken care of at the next realignment. You are making your self look silly here and more less making you seem scared to play a higher enrollment school and in a sense making an excuse. TC fan to TC fan, lets find another point. You and I both know TC has handled plenty of teams with higher enrollment over the years.
  5. biggest, do you have an update that you feel you can share. I have been very concerned and been sending prayers your guys way since first seeing the original post.
  6. @snoball5278 was apart of one that was much worse surprisingly. TC @ Mayfield KY many moons ago was turrible. TC kicked off both halves to gain field position. I believe the final was 12-7 in that one. I remember seeing the players after the game running and diving and sliding about 15 yds in the mud.
  7. Oh you did. But the mud was limited and the footing was acceptable. If you go back to R3 of last year kids are slipping at the snap many times.
  8. Yeti, The reason you were able to do it is for 1 reason only, location. Watertown's field does not shed water very well and it was a mess. Another Reason, they had played on it for several weeks in a row (que the Watertown Region Champ chants) and TC's field was fresh. John Kerr field is able to sustain water very well. Trust me, i have seen the sucker more than 3 ft under water and the next day you could play on it. Its the Creekbank.
  9. may not be ready Friday. can we push this out to Saturday, maybe Sunday.
  10. Another week and another By the Numbers: Round 3 Trousdale Co. at Watertown. The One we've all been waiting for! Match-Up History: This chapter of this series will be number 46 based on my records. The Yellow Jackets lead the series 34-11. Since being put back in the same region 2 years ago, the series is tied at 2-2. The last match-up occurred in Week 3. Spectators at that game saw the Jackets get out to a 13-0 lead and take that into halftime only to see the Purple Tigers scratch and claw their way back to tie and force overtime. The Tigers would force their 5th turnover on the first snap of the extra period and set up the game winning field goal to take the game 16-13. For the rest of my weekly segment, follow the links below to check out the latest episode from the boys on Burma Road! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/burma-road/id1477664025?i=1000457334177 https://open.spotify.com/episode/15b8JJ2pXjEXhSeQzaVUAo?si=CgjiupvmTX2LI1Hjp2dRfQ Just under 56 Hrs until KO and I can't wait! Should be a Great One!
  11. From Nolensville? DeKalb is on the road. I tried looking it up online but could not find anything. I didn’t make the trip in W3 and watched it on there and I have to say, they have their stuff together. It was an awesome broadcast and very clear picture.
  12. Anyone know if DTC will be broadcasting this one. Was pretty awesome last year to watch the play live and then the delayed broadcast between plays on the phone.
  13. I work with several who personally know the postman and they all agree he is a 4 one was a T for ya, another tries to cook a little bbq and knows his round ball. Good guys! Can’t tell ya what they said about you though.
  14. Or someone is scared to play when the game is meant to me played?
  15. And what's the chance that that happens. Gavin, "Hello Little Buddy!" BSatt, "Supp Coach!" Gavin, "So looks like its going to rain alot on Friday, we both want a large crowd to create an awesome atmosphere, so I was ...." Bsatt, click. Gavin, "... wondering if you want to, Hello, Buddy you there? Hello, Da**."
  16. I stand corrected. It looks like Huntland @ Huntington has been moved and Gordy @ South Pitt was briefly but is back to Friday.
  17. I highly doubt it. If thats the case, all games would potentially be moved and that could be a nightmare for TSSAA. For the Playoffs, the officials come from outside the area so Travel could be a major issue. I know that the local officials used for Watertown and Trousdale have 3 games this week, 1 in Memphis and 2 in the Knoxville Area. Plus it will cause the offseason to be 1 day longer for someone and that just ain't fair.
  18. bounce between 1 & 3 mostly but I do carry the play action pass and have a decent screen game in the playbook.
  19. Woody, I see you are new so first off welcome to the club. Please realize that there are 5 different types of posters here on the T. 1) Realist - A person here is a fan and a die hard about their team, a true fan. They will support their team through thick and thin. They will also point out the faults their team has and realize its not all roses. 2) Purest - Again a die hard and true fan but their eyes have glossed over and the only colors they see are those of their school. Everyone else is terrible. Their team is the best and you can't talk them out of it. These usually are very harsh on the Zebras as well. 3) Factors - These are people who speak in facts. Proving them wrong is difficult as they know their stuff. 4) Jack-Rabbits - These dudes are here to have fun and get as many people as possible riled up. They dont care what team they rub wrong either. A loose cannon of sorts. 5) Roy - @Roy Dillard has his own category as his is one of a kind. The fun of the T is trying to determine which category each poster falls in and with some which category their post falls in. I for one stay mainly in the 1 and 3 but every once in awhile you have to throw a counter in to keep them honest. Enjoy the T and looking forward to Fridays matchup! Should be a good one.
  20. Here is a little something i put together. Enjoy! Who will it be? If, Buts, Candy and Nuts, Whats the excuse going to be? The rain is coming, and we shall all soon see A great spectacle on that brown muddy field wondering who is going to yield the bragging rights vs the wanna bes. Indians or Tigers are waiting on the other side, but for one its the end of the ride but who twill it be? Purple or Yellow will be the fellow toting the Region 4 flag. But first a battle one that will rattle even the shag. We soon shall see! One team will lay somber in defeat the other yelling victorious so sweet. advancing on to play again while the others offseason will begin. Watertown and Hartsville the teams hail from both eager to give each other some. The team in white is in familiar territory But the team in Purple wants one in the Semi (finals) category. Who will it be? Come one, come all For Friday Night the boys will play real ball. I promise you will be in for a real treat and them Jackets will be chanting Tiger Meat. Who will it be? Who will it be? We shall soon see, which team claims the Victory!
  21. Last Years Watertown D does not compare to this years TC D. They averaged allowing 11.2 PPG and only recorded 1 shutout. They were better than this years though. I'd also say that the offense last year for Watertown is superior to this years, 44.9 compared to 32.3. When you compare year to year with TC, their number have moved to the better. Last year TC scored 30 PPG while giving up 11.3 PPG vs 36 PPG & 5.6 PPG in '19.
  22. If we are comparing schedules, let look deeper at this from a rankings aspect so that we can apply a number as we all usually understand things better when numbers are applied. In this case, the lower number is more difficult. First for Trousdale Co.: Team -- W - L -- Sonny Moore Ranking -- Massey Rating -- Result vs TC Friendship -- 8 - 2 -- 108 -- 104 -- L 0-14 Watertown -- 10 - 2 -- 87 -- 94 -- W 16-13 Gordonsville -- 5 - 7 -- 227 -- 230 -- L 0-49 Westmoreland -- 5 - 6 -- 201 -- 222 -- L 6-44 Macon Co. -- 5 - 6 -- 165 -- 170 -- L 0-28 East Robertson -- 5 - 6 -- 237 -- 243 -- L 6-55 Portland -- 4 - 7 -- 220 -- 180 -- L 7-37 Cascade -- 2 - 8 -- 297 -- 284 -- L 0-44 Jackson Co. -- 3 - 7 -- 251 -- 296 -- L 20-42 Marion Co. -- 2 - 9 -- 278 -- 256 -- L 0-42 Tyner -- 8 - 4 -- 70 -- 121 -- L 7-28 Avg -- 5.2 - 5.8 -- 185.7 -- 191.2 -- 5.6-36 And for Watertown Team -- W - L -- Sonny Moore Ranking -- Massey Rating -- Result vs H2O Gordonsville -- 5 - 7 -- 227 -- 230 -- L 13-19 Nolansville -- 10 - 2 -- 23 -- 41 -- W 32-14 Trousdale -- 10 - 1 -- 39 -- 54 -- L 13-16 Dekalb -- 8 - 4 -- 80 -- 117 -- L 20-42 Cascade -- 2 - 8 -- 297 -- 284 -- L 13-34 White House -- 5 - 5 -- 167 -- 173 -- L 8-28 Westmoreland -- 5 - 6 -- 201 -- 222 -- L 0-35 Jackson Co. -- 3 - 7 -- 251 -- 296 -- L 8-42 Upperman -- 10 - 2 -- 55 -- 58 -- W 21-20 East Robertson -- 5 - 6 -- 237 -- 243 -- L 20-56 Tellico Plain -- 3 - 8 -- 281 -- 283 -- L 8-47 Bledsoe Co. -- 8 - 4 -- 145 -- 187 -- L 21-35 Avg. -- 6.2 - 5 -- 157.1 -- 172.5 -- 14.8-32.3 Rankings and Records of opposing teams show that Watertown has had the tougher schedule.
