Well its obvious to me that your knowledge of the game is pretty low. How many teams do you see run a shotgun rather than the power I on the 2 yard line on saturday and sunday. Most the time you don't see it on friday night, unless your watching us play. I gaurantee you its going to be a one sided percentage if you tally it up. There are so many advantages to running the I in ths situation. If you don't see them by now, you probably never will see them. Maybe you should choose another sport to follow. And your last statement about dope and children is retarded. Its two totally different subjects, stick to football and quit searching for things to say!

Maybe I could have worded it a little better, so no thats not what I'm saying for the most part. I just really don't agree with some of the things he is doing, and I haven't from the start. I do think the talent of the kids is better than his play calling. I know the kids get their talent from good fundemental skills being taught to them at practice. I just wish they done things a little different with the play calling.

O.k look, I support the team. I want nothing but the best for the boys, but that don't mean I have to agree with everything the coach does. I don't think you should run a shotgun on the 2 yard line on first and goal. You guys seem to take it personal though when an opinion is brought out that you don't like. Yeah lets not go there. Appearently you don't know Donny to well. I myself know several situations where he helped kids out with money out of his own pocket. He also spent several ours of his own time talking to kids about situations not on the football field or in school. I could name several situations, but your not worth the time. I never critisized Gaddis's character. As a matter of fact, I believed mentioned that it was nothing against his character, just play calling. So you went and critisized Coach Webbs character for no reason. He done nothing to you. You are being a coward! And what coach would take a job as a coach if they didn't want to win. I don't know if you know you went south to get to the game, but thats the direction you went. The receiver was running towards Calvin, not down the sideline when he over threw the ball on fourth down and the game was over. Maybe you need to watch a tape of it.

Is there any other teams that run shotgun only? I'm just wondering.

Oh I was there, because I saw them run the same play 4 or 5 times with it being half way successful the first time. Now first of all, when you have a receiver thats lined up on the right side and we are in SHOTGUN (for the love of pete). The ball is hiked and the receiver is running a semi-slant towards the middle of the field, or I wouldn't even call it a slant. He's just running straight towards the line, he sure as heck isn't toward the side lines by any means. I don't know where you get your means of direction or how you expect to stop the clock when you don't have any time outs and 25 seconds left on the clock. I don't even really agree with the draw play he ran right before that, but as long as you agree with it, thats ok isn't it. Yes, there's always a miracle chance the play would have worked, it didn't though. This season isn't dedicated to the movie "Remember the Titans". We are allowed to run more than six plays, and they even hiked the ball under center. You know what was said at the end of that movie when they one play left cephus. "He's got your number coach, you gotta throw something different at him". I saw nothing different, theres no need for another team to study our game tape. If there past the sixth grade, there able to remember our plays. Munford has a good coach, he made adjustments at halftime and shut us down. I'm just tired of everyone making excuses for the "Golden Coach". I'm not saying he's a bad guy, its nothing against his character, but sometimes you just gotta throw something different at em'. A pass play up the middle that we had already ran 4 times with it being successful once. Nice play to call with 25 seconds left. Great Call COACH

realredpride, let myadvice ease your mind a little. He is most definately someone who follows Brighton football. He is going off heresay, and he is scared about this friday. As he should be though. Take the Yanker, he gives us a hard time, but he knows the power he will have to face in October. So don't worry, he is a scared little pupp!

You are right cephus, I was a little quick to single you out. I went back and re-read the previous posting and you wasn't really bashing the boys, so I apologize. I shouldn't really pay attention to the (JCM yacker), I mean yanker he he. His mouth gets so big at times though. Its going to be a big game this week. I can't wait till friday. Wow, here we go again! You two idiots (cephas and yanker) are some of the same people that were freaking out because people were commenting on the kids abilities. Now you two are bashing the kids saying that they aren't good enough to play each other. Won't you two contradict yourselves a little more. Well first of all I want to give props to the player of the game "William Henry". His defense was tenatious! He pressured all night, had several sacks, and no telling how many times he hit the quarterback, very hard! I'm not just singling him out though. Look at the punt returner #15, if we could all dance and spin like him we would have been dancin' in the streets after the game. Props to Calvin as well, he ran the ball very well. Most of his passes were just a little low though. The receivers were having to dig the ball out, but thats not always a bad thing. That also shows how good our receivers are as well. I do think we still run the QB draw a little to much, but I'm not really complaining about it either. I really like to see big Allen run the ball. That was a great 35 yard run he broke for TD. I could sit here and type for a long time about alot of players, not enough time though. Hardin County was down from last year. I will commend their receivers though, they can really go up and get a ball. To sum it up, Henry County looked great friday night. Now, we need to keep that intensity going.
