There's Alcoa, Maryville, And One Other Team On The Agenda So Looks Like Coach Shad Is Trying To Broaden The Normal Teams Played For Once. I Honestly Hope It's Between Alcoa. I Would Love To See Two Of The Best QB's In The State Play Each Other. How Awesome Would That Be?

Ok Here's My Problems With This List Sonny Grey Threw For Over 2,000 Yards Rod Wilks Had The Second Most Recieving Yards In State And No One Had More Catches Than Him Josh Day Had 111 Tackles And Over 20 Sacks On The Year Plus Two Int's I Don't Know How The Voting Is Done But Seems To Me It Should Be Changed. State Champs And Not One Person Made All-State?

The Game Was So Lopsided The First Time Around For A Multitude Of Reasons. I'll Name Them Off For You Because You Don't Seem To Know Them.... 1. Josh Crouch Didn't Play 2. We Had A Different Defensive Package 3. Reuben Shadrake Was Coming Off Two Weeks With Verry Limited Action Due To Suspension 4. Team Morale Was Down 5. Our Offensive Plays Were More Conservative However Smyrna Was Still Outplayed And Outcoached I Mean You Don't Score 49 Points On A Team Without Talent And Good Coaching. The Second Time Around Though When Smyrna Had Everything Fixed And Came In Ready To Give It All We All Saw The Outcome. I Hope That These Games Become Closer Now. Then That'll Solidify The Fact That It's A Rivalry Game...

Marsalous Is At UT...He Got Suspended But He's On The Team Again After Working His Way Back Up. He's On The Special Teams And Has Been Playing Hard When Given The Chance. Look For Him In The Bowl Game And Next Year If He Plays Well And Keeps His Head On He Could Start At CB

I Never Said The Kid Didn't Have Heart Okay We Have A Linebacker On Our Team Who Was 5'6 You Don't Think It Took Heart For Him. I Didn't Say Anything Against The Kid's Heart Or Talent Alright. What I Said Was Your Coach Made A Bad Decision Putting Him On A Player Like Rod. I Don't Care How Much Heart You Have There Comes A Time When Size And Talent Catch Up To Heart And That Was A Bad Coaching Move. My Picks For The Playoffs In 07' Not In Any Order Smyrna (duh) Riverdale (duh) Wilson Central (I Might Have Some Support On This It's A Good Team) Here Comes The Upset Special BLACKMAN Yes I Know Their Past Records But I Think The Coaches There Are Starting To Get What They Want In Place And I Wouldn't Be Suprised If Blackman Sneaks Into The Playoffs. If They Don't Then I Would Expect Oakland To Be The One Who Rains On Their Parade. LaVergne Is Losing To Much Between No Coach And A QB Who Has Been That Team For The Last Few Years. Lebanon Is Always Around But They Didn't Have Enough Weapons To Impress Me This Year. As Far As Oakland Goes They're Always Really Iffy. Don't Get Me Wrong They Have The Talent That's Obvious If You Watch Them. Well My Opinion Isn't Completley Unbiased... Yeah We Can Give Up Some Yards But As Long As They Bend And Don't Break They'll Be Ok. Okay So I'm Gonna Talk About The Game, For Once . Ravenwood Does Have A Pretty Good O-Line From What I've Seen So Far. Actually They Probably Have One Of The Best Smyrna Has Faced This Year. Smyrna's Weakest Link As Some Might Say Is Their D-Line. While Ravenwoods Line May Be Able To Control Smyrna's Line It Is Not The Bulldogs Line That Makes Plays On Defense. Smyrna's D-Line Pretty Much Takes The Other Teams O-Line Out Of The Picture. What Am I Talking About Your Probably Asking Yourself...? Smyrna Makes It's Plays On Defense From The Linebacker And Defensive Back Positions. As A Matter Of Fact So Far In The Playoffs The Linebackers And D-Backs Have 20 Sacks While The Line Has 5. If Ravenwood Pounds The Ball They May Find A Few Breaks But Will Most Likely Not Win. If The QB Sits In The Pocket To Pass They Can Find Some Holes But The Pressure Will Eventually Cause Problems For Them And They Most Likely Won't Win. The Best Weapon The Raptors Can Have Is A QB Who's Accurrate And Can Scramble. Also If Their Defense Can Cause Turnovers. If They Can Do Those Things It's Gonna Be A Long Game For The Bulldogs. If Not I Would Expect Smyrna To Inch Out Over The Raptors.
