  1. No worries EHSTrack, its just a matter of time. You guys will get new facilities. Heck, JC just now got a new field and stadium. If it wasn't for big donors like Steve Spurrier and Champion Chevrolet, it wouldn't happen in JC either.
  2. OUCH! Woe . . . Good come back Alright guys, we will see how it goes Friday night between Elizabethton & Science Hill. I believe Greeneville, Science Hill AND Elizabethton have good ball clubs this year. In the order I mentioned.
  3. Make no mistake, Science Hill is a good football team. Greeneville is a very good team.
  4. I thought it was a good hard fought game on both sides. Seemed like the QB for G-ville was covered in vaseline. The S-Hill players couldn't seem to hang on to him. Over all G-ville had a better ground game, S-Hill had better passing, but I thought S-Hill's pass defense was good. G-ville was big on the o-line. Entertaining game to watch for sure.
  5. No shortage of classless rhetoric from (some) of the DB posters on CoachT - Thankfully for the DB family as a whole, a lot of what we see written on here DOES NOT reflect the other 98% of the DB family.
  6. Big mouths are usually powered by low functioning brains. Peace out . . .
  7. Hmm . . . Did you mention something about half a brain? . . . Ya know . . . Maybe you should go back and read my post again, Hotshot. Did I say something about South?? Uhh . . . W e l l . . . What's South got to do with YOUR 1st round losses? To be such "The Big Boys" on the block. Why are you guys so occupied (or worried) about what your little brothers are doing to your south?
  8. Hmm . . . Ya know . . . If you D-B people played football as well as you talk crap. You all would be winning state championships every year instead of burning out in the first round. But, I know, I know . . . That's old news!
  9. All that tradition, support and results gets the Mighty DB to . . . uhh . . . about to Knoxville?? Is that about right? Yeah, I think so. That's about it!
  10. I seen this on the SHHS thread. Science Hill vs. Greenville scrimmage went to a 5 to 5 tie. Greenville only lost 3 players from last yrs team from defense. Video from scrimmages - > My link www.facebook.com/sciencehillstadium
  11. Ya know there is such a thing as over training? More isn't always better. I've heard the new coach is running the boys into the ground. I don't know, just what I have been told by South insiders.
  12. Farragut is too balanced on offense for the Toppers to stop. I hope I am wrong. GO TOPPERS! /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />

    D1 AAA

Word has it that Volunteer will be the team to beat in D1 AAA. I think Science Hill has graduated all but maybe one starter. All new team with a new coach. ???
  14. Yeah, without traveling all the way to Knoxville for tougher games, I thought South and M. West were good upgrades in scheduling. The Toppers have a pretty tough schedule. Some people say…well, they are JUST 4A teams! I think TN High, S. South, M. West and Betsy are “quality” ball clubs. Betsy might need a couple years, but I have no doubt they will be back where they once were.
  15. If Shawn "Coach" Witten, coaches as well as he played, then EHS will get back to where they were. It might take a couple of years or so, but I think he can do it. Especially with granddad, in the background for a little advice and direction.
  16. Well...I don't necessarily think there should be a 6A in football myself. After all, 4A Crockett had 1,390 students compared to 5A Oak Ridge with 1,433 in 2006. Not many schools in the State of Tennessee that is sporting 2000+ kids like Science Hill. As a matter of fact according to TSSAA there were only 11 schools in the whole state.
  17. How did Science Hill do? I heard they finished 4th?
  18. I believe Science Hill had a really good spring practice. The offense is totally revamped. I am amazed at the timing the quarterback and his receivers had for just two weeks of practice. With a full schedule of 7 vs. 7 passing tournaments this summer, the offense should be primed in time for the season opener with Sullivan South Aug. 23. Can’t wait!
  19. I hope to see you all laughing and still cutting jokes when Gilligan has his foot up your hind-ends this season! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  20. compusatman...Do you know the Sullivan South scrimmage schedule? I would like to check-out Curt Phillips before Thursday Aug 23.
  21. Sorry to hear the news of Coach Wilson...our thoughts and prayers go out to the Wilson family, players and students of Bearden, from Science Hill.
  22. Sitting here reading the last few posts from topvol98, WaCoJaCo and compusatman and I have laughed, agreed and disagreed and thought everyone had some very good points. My 2 cents worth is...Desire + dedication + direction = Determined Destiny I believe Coach Smith has that desire, dedication and he is showing the boys direction. Coach Smith BELIEVES! Attitudes are contagious. The height of your success is determined by the depth of your belief.
