  1. Dyer County by at least 14. What DC will lack on the field to injuries they will make up for in the stands. The DC fans are as loud and obnoxious as any I have seen in a long time. It spreads intensity to the players. I will most likely be in Newbern friday night and expect a good game but Haywood will not be able to hang 4 quarters.
  2. I would say that the Dyer county vs. Haywood game would rank up there pretty high.
  3. Just out of curiosity-- Did anyone find out what the do over on 4th down and goal was about last night?? I've never seen anything like it before in my life. Did the officials just no know what to call it?
  4. Good to hear that practice went well. I hope this was just a refresher for them. A refresher in knowing how bad it feels to lose. I'm sure they will be ready for the Chargers friday night and will take care of business. The loss is behind them and now they need to be looking forward to this game friday night. Ths is the seniors last season to ever strap up as a Trojan so they know the implications of not executing and playing 110%. Go out and get it done! Play your heart out til the whistle blows. Never loaf, there is always someone to block or hit, find them. Go Trojans!
  5. I second those congratulations! Great job!
  6. Congratulations to the Choctaws! It was a great game and atmosphere Friday night! DC wanted it more and their fans did too. I was amazed at the excitement shown by the fans compared to D'burg. It actually ticked me off that our fans were too good to get excited and yell when our team needed our support. I hope we will get another chance in week 13 but we both must take care of business til then!
  7. I'm sure it's a tactic to get D'burg fired up and most likely there wasn't even any players involved. The student body gets pretty excited during homecoming week especially with the county rivalry. If I were you as B.A.'s dad I would only look at this as respect. They know your son is a force and more importantly you should be proud that your son can shrug it off. It's only nonsense anyway and saturday morning it won't mean a thing. I'm a Trojan fan and am pretty excited about friday night along with everyone else but don't let some 15-18 year olds get your mind outta whack. I'm ready to see B.A. play and I want to see his skills friday night. I would be upset if he doesn't bring the wood a few times. Go Trojans!
  8. Good luck to both teams tonight! Praying for no injuries. Should be a good battle and I'll be there pulling for the Trojans!
  9. Good Luck tonight Choctaws! Keep your nose to the grindstone and come away healthy and with a "W"!
  10. I stand corrected. I still did not remember him playing that night. Maybe he was just outshined by Caldwell in that game.
  11. Your right. I'm glad the games are settled on the field and not on this message board. You should notice one thing also though, this is not LAST year. For Dyer county's sake they should be glad with the great start they are off to. I hope they can play Haywood as tough as they did LAST year. Also the Dyersburg vs County game LAST year ended up 46-14 in favor of Dyersburg and was hardly a struggle. I know Flowers didn't play in that game due to some phantom injury but I really wished that he would have so I could have seen his matured talent first hand.
  12. It is a great entrance to the field. You can hear those boss hoss motocycles for miles out of the stadium./smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> The only thing that puts a damper on the entrance is the fat pa dude./biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  13. I have heard a lot of good things about Ripley this year. Unfortunately I haven't had an opportunity to watch them play so far this season. Do they have a team that can hang with the Trojans? What are your thoughts and predictions? I expect a tough region 7 3a battle with Dyersburg coming out victoriously due to pure speed and a stingy defense that has shown up so far this season. 34-14 Dyersburg.
  14. Coach, I can assure you that no one here with any brains is taking anything to heart that this coward is posting. This person has some issues that they need to face without bringing them on a public board.
