from the jibber jabber here about a qb... it sounds like the eagles have not lost much... obviously, yes, the last couple have weeks have been tough... sounds like to me when the going got tough for the qb the got gone... hard to be a great quarterback when you are not willing to fight through the rough times... not sure if sycamore is a better situation.. i think they are out of the playoffs already.... weakminded people break under pressure... i think he broke all the way to "pleasant view"

Every word you wrote is true. Talent is not enough. ....and McEwen whipped us because they played like a "TEAM". As far as them being that much better than us???I don't know. It was 12-7 with 10 minutes to go in the game - and then it was 31-7 at the end. Had a chance to win up until the point when the kids stopped playing. Lack of focus - Lack of heart - Lack of leadership - These things can and will be corrected. It's kind of like someone calling another person stupid - and that person responding with "I can go to school and become smarter....but you will always be ugly." Mistakes and attitude can be corrected, but if a team lacks talent - they will always be "ugly". The Eagles have talent so they still have a chance. Undefeated in October last year to come back and clinch 2nd. I would not be surprised if they come out of October with at least 3 more wins this year. Sure hope they do - and then some of you can eat some of this crow. - Tasty stuff, goes good with humble pie. As for me, I have had my fill of both, so I will be signing off - as I did last year at the first of October. Talk to ya in the Spring.

Gees. Russel187... Your spelling is great.. First of all, after looking at Eagleville's schedule.. one can understand why the starters were in... A week previous the eagles played against a mediocre moore county team and played like crap and got their butts handed to them. After the mcewen game they had cascade... after a dismal performance against moore co., im sure the starters were slated to play the entire game SIMPLY to get better... im sure there was nothing against mcewen.. Second of all, Is a game that is 14-0 truly out of hand in order to sub.. NO... Maybe mcewen believes a two touchdown lead is sufficient... Regardless... last year is last year... this is this year... Eagleville wins... Mcewen cries for another year...

if ur base is the spread its hard to get into the i when you have too... if your base is the i... pretty easy to get into the spread.. i would say the eagleville team can get into the spread any time they want.
