You guys are talking about players.....without a head football coach......This thread was begun to talk about the head coaching position. Can we get some scoop on who will be the next head coach will be? What's the hold up? I'm just anxious I guess.

Any news for South Doyle High School?

A former East Robertson High School assistant coach has applied as of Jan. 2nd, as a long shot. He is willing to take an assistant coaching position just to get back to East Tennessee. Just a rumor kids...I can't confirm this though. If you guys know anything else just post it.

Case will be the man with the same assistant coaches as last year (my best estimate & opinion). There has already been a surge in interest from the students at WG. Good luck to the Buffaloes for '07.

T. Beets!!! Why would anyone leave M. West for West Greene. Don't make sense. But with Helton gone as commonsense seems to know, his hireing would make sense.

Great point, no one else is raising those points commonsense, so who would you recomend? I do think Early should stay, I don't know too much about Helton. WGHS does need more than just three coaches. The facilities are not that good, but it is better than (Choke a Duck) I mean Chuckey-Doak.

Off all the coaches mentioned. Greenelee Williams Helton Thompson Early Who has the most football knowledge and football coaching experience. Williams was coaching football before last season, my vote goes to him. Also no one on this board mentions that J. Early is still on contract and a member of the coaching staff. He hasn't resigned, have you all just written him off!!!!

Give it to Helton, he seems to be the only one interested. I wouldn't like it, ( and nobody on this message board would either ) but why not, if there is such a lack of support. If the school is not going to take it serious keep it inhouse and give it to him.

Is the position even advertised yet? If it is, well the "offical search" is on, if not all of you are just wasting your time, or the most likely reason is the bossman already has his mind made up. Even if it is advertised, the bossman already has his mind made up, and it will only be advertised for two, maybe three days. Will anyone be back for next seaon from last's years staff? That is a minor question that could be an important one. And besides no one on here really has a clue as to who will be next head coach.
