York is about the dirtiest bunch of players I’ve ever seen

I don’t understand why York isn’t trying to pass the ball down 21. The run game has only worked on one drive

Can Groves get 40 carries in this game.
Yes maybe 50 lol

York is more undisciplined than ER….wow!! York’s offense is terrible to be 13-0.
100% my thoughts…..I didn’t think that was possible. ER is keeping their cool right now

ER is gonna have some dudes setting the edge.
I do think with how York runs the ball ER’s senior LB will have a huge game. Not #2 but the other one….can’t remember his name but that kids got heart and a motor that won’t quit.

I will say ER O line is big and fast, sometimes a little too fast. Watching them Friday night I was impressed with their speed, but every now and again #0 would loose the edge trying to make a big play in the backfield. You could see he knew it and that’s a good thing because he’s young and correcting himself. ER will fly to the ball too and have LB’s that will clean up the run and the DB’s looked great in run support.
Watching a little of York they do a great job of misdirection and QB play running out of that funky formation they use.

Riverside made big statement with thumping Huntingdon. Fairley is about to get exposed next Friday. Riverside to get another shot at Gold likely against ER this time around. I am just keeping it real
Two weeks in a row made you a believer in ER I see……I am just keeping it real.

I’ve heard enough bout the Groves kid to know he is the real deal. I’m excited to watch him play.
Being neutral, Springfield fan, he’s the real deal and then some. He would start at RB on any team in the state no matter classification. What blows my mind is the amount of talent all over the field, not just him, and how young they are. Sophomore and Junior heavy with a freshman QB. And of course how many other Grooves are on the team. I know York has played a very competitive schedule and are undefeated for a reason, should be one heckuva match up.

I am thinking about it. I go to the Springfield High games and haven't gotten to see ER play. I have a lot of RobCo family in the Cross Plains/Orlinda area that feeds ER The Groves family has produced fantastic athletes for YEARS
It’s a nice ride commish, you’d like it if you got to leave early enough and see a few sights along the way. Knowing you and your love for history you’d like to go over and see the historic community of Rugby. I would love to make this one after going to Carthage last night, but family thanksgiving plans won’t allow it. NFHS for me it is.

I guess the @GeneralForrest is in the no comment section this morning after his know all end all predictions about ER the last 2 weeks lol

Unless something drastic changes, looks like the weather will be a big factor in this one. Hurts our passing attack but figure it will also neutralize some of ER’s speed advantage. Points will come at a premium
How is SC’s run game? Only game I’ve saw then play was the first meeting against ER, so not really a good sample size to gage.

Not really. Each member school pays a fee to "join" the TSSAA...along with that comes the small print portion of the "agreement", that contains the abide by the rules, bylaws, blah, blah, blah...you get the point.
EDIT
I was simply catching up and posted...didn't see this last page until I hit submit. Exactly right though about choosing to be a member.
That’s what I meant by that comment. You choose to be part of their organization, and doing so you agree to their rules. Not going to win an argument going against something you agreed too to begin with.

I wonder if the players authorized the TSSAA to earn money off their images on NFHS? Maybe they don’t have to but it’s an interesting question I think
That’s a slippery slope…..

Better get there somewhat early otherwise you will be walking up and down multiple large hills. It is called "The Hole" for a reason lol.
I plan on it.….now I can say I’ve attended a game at “The Hole” and “The Pit” lol

Does it get crowded early? Planning on stopping and eating and might try it out.

It's already a disaster. If it rains like they are saying we won't have a field by 9:00 PM
That’s what I'm curious to see, if SC’s passing can be effective on a wet muddy field. On the flip side of that, it does equalize ER’s speed as well. I’ll be making the trip over Friday for the game. I’m a Springfield guy, not an ER homer, but will be pulling for the Robertson county team.
-
Looks like a rainy forecast for Friday. Will that play a big factor for either team?

The Marion game is the only one I have seen for ER. ER’s OC put two HBacks in the A gaps and gave the ball to Groves to pick his holes/seams. The OLine size/strength and Groves’ power wore down Marion’s D.
That’s an affective O if you can do it. The O team controls the clock, holds the ball, scores and the opposing team has little time to score. From what @hoggtown reported SC D will be A LOT stouter than what Marion put on the field. This game maybe punting and field position. Johnny Majors is already popping the corn, it’s his type of “slobber knocker game”
SC front 7 are A LOT better than Marion’s were last night. They’ve got a d-tackle that’s a game changer and good LB’s. That’s what I was referring to on play calling. Basically ran the same 3-4 run plays in the second half of the first meeting against SC and they shut it down.

I agree their offense is vanilla, OC does not know how use his talent. But the HC wants to run a Beech offense. If can't block them, you better hold-em.
100%
In the first meeting the OC play calling during the second half was way too predictable. IMHO, besides the penalties, biggest reason ER got beat.

Smith by 2 scores if East doesn’t grow up and learn that cooler heads prevail. Don’t think that happens before next week, but always hopeful lol. Shame for a team with so much talent to be held back just because they can’t keep their cool
From a Robertson county guy……East Robertson is by far the most talented team in the county and is by far the most undisciplined team in the county. Could win it all but most likely won’t because of lack of discipline.

ER vs York trip to Chattanooga on the line
in Class 1A & Class 2A

York’s homeboy announcers are really wanting them to throw one of the grooves out and none of them threw punches.
