exactly how many teams are there in the DII program right now?

Because USJ's offense is so much different than most teams around here, IF milan came out flat and expected to win this game without problem, I could see a USC-Oregon State type upset happening. This being said, Morris will have Milan as pumped up as they have ever been. USJ will get their yards and catches, but Milan dominates.

If there is someone who needs a week of rest, they will get it. Other than that the starters will start. If the game gets ugly, we will sub. Whats the word on Bledsoe?

You were indeed correct about the lack of a blowout. I was unaware we would be missing 3 starters. Besides that, we looked sloppy. In a way it's a good thing we played poorly. It will give the coaches something to motivate the team. If they win every game by 30, it's impossible not to get over confident. Humboldt is clearly a better coached team than they have been in the past. Good luck to them the rest of the year.

I do, in fact, think the game will be a blow out. Humboldt my have improved from week one, but they are still a below average Humboldt team and Milan is above average, even by Milan standards.

I don't think Gilbert "wanted" out. He got pulled out for rest a few times and when he fumbled, but he was obviously upset about being taken out and he was back in shortly thereafter. Bear in mind, he plays both sides of the ball.

Well said. Somebody called in to 96.5 last night after the game and said that humboldt would beat milan. It's a region game and an old rivalry, but lets be serious. I hope some of the humboldt fans join this conversation. It's pretty boring with just one side.

Ward has a history of "sand bagging" in the papers before a big game. He did it last year if memory serves me. He is an excellent coach and excellent coaches, like excellent players, always believe they are going to win and Ward believes they are going to win tomorrow night. So does Morris. So does every player on Camden's team and so does every player on Milan's team. That??™s what makes good teams good. If you ask either coach, they will act like they're over matched and just doing what they can to hang with the other team. The coaches know each other and they are in part being classy and in part BSing each other. I don't thing either has been tested yet. We'll just see how good they both are tomorrow. I don't expect Camden to be very "David" like though.

Milan's good. Real good.

Milan is better than Huntington. Maybe a lot better. This being said, we are still playing Huntington. There has not been a blowout between these two teams in a long time and I doubt Friday night will be any different. If Huntington was better than Milan I expect Milan would keep it close and I expect the same from Huntington. There is just two much pride and mutual respect between these teams for anybody to go down without a fight. It wont be a blowout, but the best team will win.

Who's crying? I stated that Trenton out played us and we got beat. I said that some not all of the fans were classless and that is a fact. Do you disagree? Yelling at a player who is hurt is indefensable. Again I say, good luck to Trenton for the next 2 weeks.

Congratulations Peabody. Milan got outplayed. That’s why we lost. It wasn't coaching, reffing, or anything else. As bad as it hurts, we were playing catch up all night. We did catch up and then we let it slip away. It suks but that’s the game we love. The Peabody players were great and seemed to play with very good sportsmanship. No doubt that Harper should win Mr. Football I wish that carried over into some of their fans. (not all of course) Trenton's team has improved in leaps and bounds this year. I wish you the best for the next two weeks. Next year Milan returns several tons of talent. Trenton looses several tons. It has been no secret here on coacht that you are a tactless and classless individual; but to yell that while a high school player, a sophomore with all the potential in the world, is lying on the ground with a potential knee injury is a breed of sorry that I can’t fathom. You have obviously never seen or experienced the pain endured by a player with a Knee injury. You should never be allowed to watch another football game. What if it was YOUR son lying on the ground? I've been to Freed Field on several Friday nights. I didn't mean that Trenton never had fans. Just like most highschools in this area Trenton has good fan support. What I ment by fans that never existed is the fans that are now getting on coachT and trying to run down Milan. I know that Trenton has always had fans and judging by your post you are one who has been so for a long time, but some of the ones who are now posting are talking out of their arsses. Hope for a clean injury free game. This time tommorrow I will be yelling. Drive safe to Milan.

I dont claim to know who is going to win. I think Milan is the better team but I have seen the better team loose more than once. I was pulling for Westveiw when Trenton met them because I would rather play them than Trenton. Trenton is a very good team. A big part of that good team is Harper and since he will be suiting up Friday they will be putting a good team on the field. One huge advantage milan will have is our coaching. The clock "managment" (or lack there of) displayed by Scott in the first game was hard to watch. The ball boys could have been more competent. No doubt, however, that Trenton is capable of beating milan, but dont ever bet against milan, especially not at home in the playoffs, its a bad way to make a living. The one thing I find odd is that the fans who never existed for Trenton the last 5 years are now on CoachT acting like they are playing a middle school team from manassas. I'm glad trenton is improved but if you think you will come to Johnnine Hale put "unstoppable" players on the field "shut down" milan, "put on a clinic about how football is suppoed to be played" or beat milan by 2 TDs, I'm afraid the tast of crow is one you should aquire. Trenton CAN beat Milan. If they do (which I dont THINK they will) good luck in the semis. But if Trenton comes to Milan thinking they are unbeatable, then good luck during basketball season and with a tough rebuilding year next year. Please realize that the team you are facing has more than earned its respect in this county and if you dont give the respect due, you will loose.

If both teams protect the football who wins? Your equation is flawed. Its a tie. If both teams protect the football then the better TEAM wins. Most think the best TEAM is milan. It is possible the Trenton could prove them wrong but I dont see it happening.

Everything that needs to be said for this game has already been said. I will post very little if any more about this game but I have to say this. You are an idiot. You just proved it. You are probably a Trenton player and you are on some kind of weird high because you are one of very few living people that has played on a Trenton team in the quarter finals (not knocking this years trenton team. They are good) You have absolutley no basis behind what you are saying, you are just taking stuff you have heard from hear-say and shooting off your little mouth. Red zone defense beat you. I dont see how telling us that with 350 yards and only 6 points proves that Trenton is the better team. You have to score to win.

Good to hear. As for Peabody, Harper is good. Johnson is good. Milan's defense is very very good. Our quarter back had a bad game last week. We couldn't throw so Huntington stacked to box and forced us to try. We did what we had to do. Milan's defense is too good for Trenton's run game to beat us. You will have to throw and our secondary aint too bad either. Here is my question. When Milan's typical run game gets stoped, we have a plan B and C. When harper and johnson get stoped, what will Trenton do? Milan by 14.

Goodpasture in the semis last year and Crockett Co. week 1 last year. Both outright beat Milan.
