he was hit in the cheek bone on only the 3rd pitch of the spring break tournament McMinn Central played in at Hannahan High School in Charleston... he was supposed to be the starting pitcher, but was immediately taken to a nearby hospital... he was at the hospital most of that day, but then came back to the hotel later on with his cheek bone fractured in 3 different places... the swelling has gone down tremendously but still is swollen a little... he still has the seam marks on his cheek, but he is lucky that it nipped his helmet, it could've been a lot worse than it was... Dustin is a walking miracle now... this was not the 1st time this has happened to him... he was hit in the same place when he was 11 or 12... everyone's prayers would be very appreciated

To Dustin and Family,

This Dennis Burns from Maryville. You and your family are in our prayers. Take care of yourself and we hope to see you somewhere this summer playing ball. I will tell Bill and I know he wishes you the best of luck and a big get well soon!

    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
