Boyd Buc in 2005

Boyd will make a good run this year again. I am not guaranteeing anything, but they are not as down as people think they are. Their offensive line is going to be incredible with only losing one player. Their defensive line will be good as well. The offensive line has great potential and talent. They go from LT-230, LG-270, C-215, RG-this is the position that will have to be filled, RT-280, TE-195. They will all be seniors this year and all started last year. I think Boyd can take region and make a good run in the playoffs for their first year in 2A.

...Easier said than done...the four(4) time Defending Region 3-2A "RAMTRAIN" will have a lot to say about who "takes" this region!!!

They'll be good, but you cant replace Peardon and Akins. Those 2 were the major reason offensively for there success last year along w/ a good line. Will they pass the ball any this next year or just do the "power football" thing?

They will be balanced i hear their putting in alot of new things on offense, but the bucs will be good and they will win their region and compete for state! thumb

What happened to the Ramtrain against Goodpasture last year, I think Boyd ran all over Goodpasture. I don't think Boyd has forgot that 90-6 thumping they got in 98. Tyner - Boyd game will be a good game to watch this year.

...The "RAMTRAIN" lost to Goodpasture but that was then...this is "now"...1998 was a loooooong time ago and I wish that all of the folks would quit talking about that game...none of players(from either team) are around "today"...and by the way the score of that game was 95-3...we are not concerned about if you won or lost to Goodpasture last year...we beat them in 2003(in the playoffs)...in a few months both teams will have to deal with not having certain players...the game result will be different...and yes, I agree it should be a good game!!!

Hmmmmmm...I smell a rivalry a brewing between Boyd Buc and Tyner. Should be a good game but Boyd will still be tough to beat. Robert Akins always has his boys ready to play over there on Moore Road.

I am a graduated Buc. The coaching staff at BBS is a hard fighting one so anyone who thinks they will jus push the bucs back down to 1A better check they self. They might not be the biggest but Speed kills as a coach use to say. I hope the Tyner BBS game is a good one. Whether its on The Hill or at The Swamp. We got somethin to prove to everybody, and we'll do so game by game.

I can't wait to see the Bucs play Fulton and Cookeville. Everybody thinks both those teams will run over them but i dont think so, i think it will be two great games and the Bucs will givew them all they want!

Another thing the Bucs offensive line is ganna be dirty they have Roberts,MCentyre (both started as sophmores when they won state),clonts, webster. They just need to fill the right guard position but that wont be a problem they have a couple 300+ guys that could step up.
