I think Greeneville should be respected for their accomplishments this year. I would guess the majority of posters following AAA would agree. It's all a question of degree after that. As for the Greeneville haters---they have little credibility, given what you've accomplished on the field. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Well, as i "recall", no threads that my fellow players and I have posted have indicated anything about us being some kind of amazing cinderella story.  Mainly as i "recall" the only thing we have been able to do on these boards is defend ourselves from other members that do not believe that greeneville has earned any respect

i agree. all greeneville wants is little respect, so far we havent been able to earn much from anyone. We know our schedual isnt that tough, we dominate our region and should be able to create some upsets when tournament time comes around.

Greeneville boys... I think you are putting too much into whether or not people on these threads "respect" your program. Play your game, quit worrying about rankings, and your results will gain you respect. Rankings are very nice to look at, but in the end, wont win you any banners, rings, or trophies. Win your next game, then the one after that, and so on. You will gain respect based on results and how you play, not by asking if you deserve it. Good luck, guys.

No disrespect.....did not kno that they where that young they sure dont look like that young...they do play like it though...and talking to whoever said when did this become a thread about club teams...most of the success in high school soccer is made up during summer and fall...chemistry is built up...i hadnt heard of any other greeneville clubs around so i assumed that this greenville team was the same one Elizabethton united beat 5-0...either way greenville doesnt compete at same level as hill...ive also seen a/aa teams with tougher schedules...but good luck to you devils

I totally agree with Big G getting on here and talkin stuff is just dumb and childish we should all be lucky we have soccer... greeneville is a great team... and they play hard... lets' just hope these rankings dont get to their head or they'll have another showing like the one against jeff. If Greeneville is ranked #6 in the state then the state must be having a huge down year. Greeneville is a mediocre team in a very weak region. The rankings, which must go by records, isn't a good way to look at it. I can name plenty of teams that could, and will beat them when it comes down to the line. But to answer the question, no they shouldn't be ranked at all in the top 10.
