yes Milicent Blakney of Wartburg. This is her first year playing and she has knocked the heck out of the ball. I've never seen anyone pick up hitting so quick.

The all district list was in the Roane County news yesterday. I dont have it with me or I would give you a full list. here goes what I can remember.

Rockwood Mitchell, Smith C. Smith L ,Turner and ?

Coalfield Jackson, Sexton, Morgan Melissa and Underwood

Wartburg Bates, Cook and McGhee

Sunbright Starkey, Katie W.and ?

Harriman Pollitt, Brown, Fuqua

I am just wondering how the players are picked for this. Is it there own coaches that pick them or is there more people that are voting.

From what I was told for all Dist in basketball the players coach must put their names in the pot and all the coaches vote. If there are 12 spots the top 12 vote getters make all the all Dist team. I assume that it is the same way for softball and baseball.
