alone in first, have to beat glynn tues to keep it. if we drop that one it'll throw it into a three way tie with glynn winning the tie breaker and us finishing 2nd. either way we host first round. Ripley threw a 0ne hitter and went all 7. Makes three games in a row our pitchers have gone the distance. first game all year joiner and vince both really swung well in. You'll have to get me an honorary jersey so i can wear it around down here.

sorry to inform you, i was wrong. We dropped one to groves 8-4 on saturday, just never showed up. Got beat 8-4 and hit harder than we've been hit all year. Now we have to win against glynn for two reasons. One, if we beat them we still win region, two if we lose we fall to 3rd place now and travel first round. Heartbreaker saturday.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
