If a game is suspended when it is resumed the next day does the same pitcher have to go to the mound till the umpire says play ball? Or can a pitching change be made while the game is suspended? Just wondering!!

Pitchers can be changed before the game is resumed.

The game is usually suspended until the next day. However, it could also be suspended until you can return for the next game.

 

You can change pitchers -- or any other players for that matter -- but you would have to make the substitution based on the original lineup. If for some reason you had already used P10 as a pinch-hitter, he would not be eligible to return to the suspended game since he had already been used. Plus, in high school rules, the player that he pinch-hit for, if they returned to the game, would have used up his re-entry.
