Alcoa played really good for a change. they only lost 9-7. they had 14 hits and 3 of them were off byrge in the last two innings. One of them was a triple. but the starting pitcher could not keep the ball down and put them in to a 5-1 hole up to the second inning after that only two of there runs were earned.

Who are the probable starters for Gibbs and Alcoa on Monday?....and Tuesday?

Waters will start on monday and taylor or brett on tuesday for Alcoa.

You are right Alcoa did play a great ball game Saturday. But unfortunatly they didn't have 14 hits AC had 4 errors Giving Alcoa 4 or 5 unearned runs. The triple was only b/c an outfeilder decided to dive for a ball he that wasn't with in 10 ft of him or it just would have been a double maybe just a single b/c the kid that hit it did not have great speed but is a very good hitter and catcher. But over all Alcoa has improved hitting the Ball well and their deffense was awesome AC hit some pee rods and the infeilders would just snag'em or knock them down and throw out the runner. Alcoa will be tuff to handle if they keep playing this way.

We had 12 hits Dunn told us 14 but he miss counted. And if the kid did not dive i would hav not got close to third base. I dont know why he dived he was no where close.

Gotta go with Gibbs on this. They are on a 10 game winning streak and hitting extremely well this past weekend at the Beaver Creek Classic.

Probably will be. Didn't pitch this weekend in the classic and was saved for district games.

Alcoa needs to rebound tonight against Gibbs, if not they could find themselves out of the race for the top spot in district.
