Jr. High Basketball Camps

You may be right, I'm operating on what I've heard from this and that. I don't believe I've ever seen anything on paper.

Are you guys talking about the camps they had at Baxter High School and Elementary School??? If you are, did anyone see or hear about the Pine Haven Girls(7-8)?¨ I would really like to know how they did in the camp!!! Thanks!

The three best teams that I saw at the Baxter camp were

Baxter, Pine Haven and RBS. Baxter was by far the best.

Pine Haven and RBS were evenly matched. I think that they

beat RBS by 1 or 2, but I understood that RBS had a starter

out with mono. The girls are a hustling team, but not of the caliber of last year's bunch. Just my opinion, but I

don't think any other team there was within 20 points of

any of these teams.

Did Pine Haven have any good girls? Baxter has a very good team and I know you would have to be a good team to stay with them in points. Was there any girls that catched your attention on Pine Haven, I'm a big fan and would love to hear about how the girls did!!!

1954 is correct. In the TSSAA by-laws; rule 6. Competition is separated into three divisions. Sr.high, Jr.high, and Middle school. What it says in effect is; If a player plays in a higher division, they can no longer play down at their grade level(division). The TSSAA has a web site, that covers this sort of thing. Rules of the games are covered at www.nfhs.org.
